We had a lovely time, at this gorgeous hotel. The foyer is tastefully festive. Ryan has the best demeanor for a host! He made us feel welcome and comfortable. Mihai was great also. If you go to Ruth’s Chris, be sure to get the banana cream pie!

My husband and I just returned from a long weekend in Park City. Being a Marriott member, I searched for Marriott properties and we landed on Hotel Park City - boy, did we choose correctly! This hotel is phenomenal and I simply cannot say enough about it. We stayed in one of the cottages which included a living room (w/fireplace), a kitchenette (no oven, but everything else you need), a separate bedroom (with fireplace), a bathroom, a washer/dryer, and best of all, a private hot tub on a private deck (also with a fireplace). The cottage is spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and really gives a cozy, cabin/chalet vibe. It was exactly what we were looking for. While we did not spend much time in the main building, it appeared beautifully appointed and the heated pool looked very inviting. When you don't feel like heading out, they offer room service to every area of the property and dinner comes from the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse located on-site. With a great reputation, the food didn't disappoint and always arrived quickly and still hot. I thought this was great knowing they have to drive over to the cottages from the kitchen. Location is fantastic! There is a gas station/store across the road, as well as a mid-level restaurant for a pub style bite & weekend breakfast. A grocery store, liquor store (perfect for buying champagne for the hot tub), and a number of other service stores are in the area as well. Olympic Park is short drive as is Main Street - the downtown area/"main" street full of shops, galleries, and restaurants - which has an idyllic ski town vibe. We drove, but in the summer, Main St. is walkable. *One note about Main St., most restaurants didn't open until dinner which made getting lunch a bit difficult. Not sure if this is due to COVID or it's always been like that. Parking - I was worried about parking after reading the reviews, as my husband hurt his foot and was on crutches just before we left for the trip. Because of this, we opted for valet parking ($20/day) and it was well worth it. Each time we needed our car, they drove it over to our cottage and when we arrived back to the property, they would drive us to the cottage door and then go put the car away. Otherwise, there is no immediate parking outside the cottages. You are allowed to pull up and unload, but you then need to move your car to the parking area which can be a bit of a walk depending on where you can find a spot. As great as everything above was, the real star(s) of this property are the staff! Warm, welcoming, attentive...the list of amazing qualities go on and on! They go above and beyond in every instance and I truly cannot gush about them enough. You may be asking, wasn't there something that could be better? Admittedly, my only criticisms are 1) the walls and ceilings in the cottages are thin (there are 4 cottages to every house) and at times can be noisy depending on who your neighbors are. 2) There is no good place to put your suitcases as the bedroom is tight and we didn't want them in the middle of the floors in the living room. I suppose we could have just unpacked everything. We made it work and it's not a big deal. We will 100% be back, over and over again. We're actually waiting for the calendar to open so we can book next year. Can't wait!

My wife and I, along with our neighbors, recently went on a double date to Ruth’s Chris a steakhouse in Park City, UT, and we had an amazing time!! We were so thrilled to get out of the house and have us time, that we ended up laughing, joking and generally living it up! Our waiter that night was Zach S., and rather than act annoyed by our shenanigans (sober, none of us drink), he joined in the jokes and laughter! He helped make the night more than it could have been on our own, and I am personally so very grateful for that! And the steak… I ordered the New York Strip bone in with a lobster tail and their hollandaise sauce with asparagus on top, and it was magical!! Every bite was incredible, and was hands down the best steak I have ever had! I highly recommend trying this place at least once in your life (admittedly, the prices are high enough to prevent making it a regular habit), and if you get lucky enough to have Zach as your waiter, tell him “Go Giants!!” ;-)

Great amenities, perfect location, everything was very clean. Super comfortable bed, but the pillows were not that comfortable. We only deducted one star because the checking could’ve been smoother. We’ve been to this hotel twice, and both times the check-in process took a little long.
