Hidden creek condo unit #22A small, outdated, soiled carpet on stairs, no firewood on arrival, several lights out, no lighting in master, jacuzzi tub drain wouldn’t work, did correct these problems but for the price- exp cleaning fees- these should be fixed prior to rental! Hot tub receiving scheduled maintenance just after slopes closed- so ridiculous. Couldn’t be used. It’s a good walk to get there in bathing suits and be turned away. This condo is a moderate walk to gondola. The overall impression would’ve been probably 3 stars except for the incident of the parking pass. We were told we had to leave it behind in the condo. But when you are trying to catch a 8 am flight, clean out condo, return rental card it would’ve been really nice if like most condos we have rented in the past had given you a disposable pass that has your dates of stay written on it. We forgot to leave the pass and despite reaching to Wyndham and trying to retrieve pass from car rental agency we were charged an extra 100$ to our bill. This is LUDICROUS AND IS A SCAM. We informed Wyndham of this and they wanted to pass the buck to the hidden creek HOA and refused to give us contact information. If they are the ones managing the rentals this should be something they would want to fix because I imagine this happens quite frequently …
Customer service was good (only interacted with them at check in). My husband and I stayed in 305B. Mountain view so that was great. The condo needs some MAJOR upgrades as it is very outdated. You can smell it when you walk in. The carpet needs replaced and the kitchen needs renovated. The queen bed is VERY uncomfortable- any movement by someone you’re sharing the bed with and the entire bed bounces. I wouldn’t stay here again.
We rented a condo through Wyndham Vacation Rentals in Park City, Utah for a long Labor Day Weekend. The staff (thank you, Connie & Sarah!) made everything so simple & convenient—totally stress-free experience! We chose a unit perfect for two, & we were very happy with our choice! Beautiful mature landscaping, & very quiet.😊👌 Red Pine Condominiums is located a couple miles outside downtown Park City, & it’s not over-developed. 🌲⛰🦌 Great shopping is only 2-3 miles in two directions: Tanger Outlets, T.J.Maxx, Smith’s (Kroger/King Sooper’s grocery), Wal-Mart, Home Goods—several other great stores, all right there! On historic Main Street, boutiques, galleries, & eateries are nestled onto both sides of this long expanse of a hill. Public transit & free, fast, clean, & comfortable. The Canyons Cabriolet is located a short pleasant walk (by a Seven-Eleven) from this condo community, & the ride up to Canyons Village is fun & FREE! From there, plenty of outdoor activities can be accessed via the Red Pine Gondola, which continues up to the top of the ridge line & includes some of the best hiking trails in the entire area ($24 a person for all-day access, until 6 p.m.) Our unit(B1) is one bedroom with two separate vanities, with a queen sleeper sofa situated in front of the large stone fireplace with gas logs. The kitchen & vanities have been updated with granite, nice fixtures, great GE stainless appliances. All the cooking & baking essentials (pots, skillets, cookie sheet, utensils, glassware, cups, blender, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, plates, bowls—even a rubber spatula!) are supplied in this well-stocked kitchen, so all we had to do was visit the grocery stores & decide what we wanted to make!☺️🥂 Our unit faces a large grouping of huge pines, so the patio is very relaxing when the heat of the sun at 10,000 feet cools off in the evenings with mountain breezes. The two pools & hot tubs are a short stroll to the clubhouse across the street. We had a great time, & will certainly use Wyndham Vacation Rentals again!…
We stayed at the Silver Creek Vacation Rentals, #207, with young kids for Four nights. Great Location, 2 minute walk to the Park City Mountain lifts, 5 minute walk to the downtown Main Street (longer if kids play in the snow!). Unit was spacious, clean, quiet, and everything worked to our satisfaction. The united was a little dated but in a pleasant, cabin feel way, kids were happy, and we quite easily relaxed in the evenings after long days skiing. kitchen had everything we needed so there was no need to eat out every(except for a kitchen) knife sharpener. We only used the outdoor hot tub once (2 of them), and it was fine. Rental staff were friendly and accommodating, would book this again.
A few items need attention. The dishwasher had some missing screws that were supposed to anchor the unit in place.. The furniture is a little warn. The tv in living room was not as advanced as the ones in the bedroom. The furniture was a little worn. For example the sofa had some of the frame bulging out of the uppolstry. The baths were nice.
I never write reviews but hope this will help others .... we were a group of 15 (7 boys age 14-17) and 8 adults going skiing for a few days in Park City. We spent many many hours working out the perfect configuration to house the group appropriately with the best location to ski lifts and town to enable the boys some independence while having a great together-time as a group during down time. On route to the airport we found out that one unit had a plumbing issue and so we would have to have one unit be in a different building "just up the road". As compensation we were told it was an upgrade to a larger unit 'that would become our gathering space for the group'. We pushed back and asked for a different solution so we stayed together but were ultimately told 'this is in the contract' so we have no choice. On arrival we realized the distance between the units was much more than expected - the new unit was close to Town Lift versus the other two being close to the mountain base so we could not even set off skiing together without an extensive walk in ski boots. The 'upgrade' turned out to have a 'gathering space' far smaller than the other 2 units. The upgrade part must have been the hot-tub on the balcony (which did not work for the first day) and which we were really not interested in. Bad things happen and I get that they had to deal with an unexpected problem but our issues are i) not telling us until the last moment despite knowing for a full 48 hours before that - we know that since they called one of the group but would not say what the issue is without speaking to what they said was the 'leader' of the group based on who booked it. On calling back the other people in the office said there was no issue with anything so we set off reassured yet indeed there was a problem. ii) not even trying to come up with other solutions - we suggested a few ideas but they paid no real attention to the ideas. iii) making us feel like they were doing us a huge favor with this fake "upgrade". iv) called midweek to ask for a later check out and did not get a call back so had to call again. v) got extended check out and then got locked out of condo anyway - had to call to get back in. and mostly vi) that they simply have no idea of customer service - a simple little discount or bottle of wine or whatever as a consolation would have gone a long way. We had to split up families to make the sleeping situation work and the whole thing changed the dynamic of our trip as we felt like 2 separate groups instead of one big group and 2 families barely saw one of their kids for the trip. Plus the upgraded units has terrible mattresses and little sound proof-ness to upper floors. We spent almost $10,000 for 5 nights and expected more service and politeness for that. We are already planning our return but will avoid Wyndam at all costs.…
Wyndham Park City is fine. This review is of a rental booked through the company Hidden Creek #22B This condo is in a nice location, within an easy walk to the Cabriolet lift. Overall though, we were disappointed. First, the photos (see the Wyndham website) make the space look larger than it actually is, which was fine for 3 of us, but more would be uncomfortable. The furnishings are sagging and worn, the kitchen has very used cookware & utensils, but the beds are a problem and need to be replaced! All 4 beds, 2 twins and 2 doubles are lumpy and very worn. The unit is carpeted, and seriously is in need of cleaning. For the price, we expected to sleep well...
The location of the condo was very convenient, however, we had several issues with the unit during our stay. 1. The gas fireplace was not working. We had to call maintenance for a repair. 2. The smoke alarm in the kitchen was super sensitive and would go off each morning when using the toaster. Maintenance came to change out the batteries but that did not help. 3. There was a wet spot on the lower level carpet - possible foundation leak which we had to walk around while coming/going in that high traffic area. 4. The hot tub was out of order during our stay. It was advertised as an amenity with the rental - very disappointing. 5. The mattresses on the pull out couches were less than desirable for the family members who had to use them. The premium price we paid for our one week stay missed the bar with the above-stated inconveniences we experienced.…
We are staying here presently at one of the rentals and have been disappointed. The hot tub does not work, and we have been promised each day it will be the next- we are almost ready to go home. Dishwasher died on Christmas Day- had to clean everything by hand. The management team has told us there will be a response for our troubles but we have not heard anything yet, Location is nice, but these little issues has been annoying for our group of 10.
