Second time at this property and it was as good as I had remembered it (if not better!). So many good things to say: - Centrally located: A block away from Main Street where all the restaurants/bars/shops are. - The property itself is absolutely lovely: A converted School House with all the nooks and crannies and all the charms you can think of (and then some!). The vibe is one of serenity and calm. The living room with the roaring fire is stunningly beautiful. I spend a lot of time there - either for breakfast, après or simply with my laptop. - Rooms: I stayed in the Pool King Room (also the same room I stayed at during my first visit). Really like the room as you can see the pool (in the summer) and a nice view of the snowy landscape (in the winter). Also obviously easy access to the heated pool and the hot tub! - Service is unparralleled: for a boutique hotel, WSH has a relatively large team that make sure that all their guests are attended to. Nothing is too much for them - in fact, I'd go as far as saying they are so attentive to their guests' needs that they give a new meaning to "personalised service". The text messaging is instant and allows you to communicate with them even when you're not at the property. The ski lounge and ski valet service is top drawer! Every morning, you'll find all your ski gear waiting for you in the ski lounge. And...even after a hearty breakfast, they still stock you up with snickers, water and other snacks together with hand and toe warmers for your day up on the mountain. Just let them know where you want to ski and they'll drop you off at the base. And when you're done for the day, they'll come and pick you up wherever you are. Again - just text them and you'll get an immediate response. Most importantly, the entire team make me feel as if I'm "at home". Either it's Matt, the GM, or Austin, the ski valet, everyone is utterly professional - yet friendly, approachable, down-to-earth and exudes genuine warmth that is missing from some of the big brands. Went on a girls trip here and it was wonderful! It's my 3rd time at this hotel and each time it's so special. The staff is amazing, kind, and helpful. It truly feels like you're home away from home with 5 star amenities. The breakfast is literally the best thing ever and not to be missed! Matt the GM and his team do such a great job. Gorgeous hotel with staff that go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful and unique. The location couldn't be better - just a 1 minute walk into downtown. The food is outstanding, with the best breakfast I have ever had. We can't wait to come back!

Truly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had (and I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world)! The care each and every single one of the team members showed me was so genuine and made me feel like I was amongst friends and family. Nothing was missed. Everything was so quick because they were able to anticipate all of my needs. Kole, Thane, Cassandra, Emery, Merlin, Matt, Austin, Joseph — you all are the absolute best! The food was healthy and delicious. Chef Frye’s hot sauce is so good! The drinks were great - don’t sleep on the cider with rosemary! The bed was beyond comfortable. And the heated bathroom floors just spoiled my feet. I used to live in PC and never knew this place existed. But after this weekend I can’t imagine ever staying anywhere else when back in town. My wife and I stayed here for a husband-wife trip, and we really loved it. The staff was beyond friendly, and helpful. They shuttled us around in a brand new Denali, moved and stored our skiies each day, and delivered drinks and coffee to our room throughout the day. The place is very charming, the beds were great, the hot tub outside in the snow was amazing. Overall, the place is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.

We stayed at Washington School house over Thanksgiving week. The service was beyond nearly anything we have experienced from traveling around the world at many 5 star resorts. We felt like we were the only people in the hotel with a personal assistant and butler. But the feel was not stuffy -- it was genuine service with a smile and a real person. From small things like always being at the door to greet us to many unexpected things like we forgot our bathing suits and they brought bathing suits for us to use (and keep). The rooms are nice but not over the top -- the real selling point is the service, boutique feel, and wonderful people. The location is great for access to Main Street. We highly recommend WSH!

It's hard to type a review for this place because words don't do it justice. It's everything you want it to be and much more. It's as beautiful as you think it is, and the rooms are as comfy as you'd think they would be. But the real treat is the staff. We were the only guests in the hotel for 3 days, and the staff treated us like we were family. Friendly, warm, caring. No pretense or snobbery. No uppity vibes. Just amazing humans taking care of your every need. This hotel is worth every penny, and then some. We could not be more impressed or pleased.

I am so thankful for the staff at Washington School House! Planning a weekend getaway for your business partners can have its complications but I didn't hit a single bump in the road with the aid of the crew at WSH. Matt, Kole, and Merlin heard from me so often they recognized my phone number and greeted me by name when I rang. Matt texted me privately to ensure I had exclusive access to him for answers on the fly regarding our specifications for the trip. One of our guests needed to have a very special evening the Saturday of our stay, and while we waited to hear back from a private dining room nearby, Matt went ABOVE AND BEYOND contacting their chef and preparing a menu for us incase our original plans fell through. My business partners were treated with the utmost respect and kindness during their weekend and I just could not be more thrilled with Washington School House. From the staff to the accommodations to the food, decor, and thoughtful gifts and messages, the WSH guest experience was impeccably managed. We could not have been made to feel more welcome or comfortable during our five-night stay. The hospitality prevailed before we even arrived with welcoming emails and texts that made us feel like we were the hotel's #1 priority. The staff was sublime. The furnishings were exquisite. The food was outstanding. We absolutely loved and appreciated receiving clever gifts and cards in our room every night when we would return home from dinner. You just don't find this level of care and attention to detail in the majority of hotels today, and that is why we will return to the WSH as soon as we are able. We have had the pleasure of staying at WSH several times and continue to have our very high expectations exceeded every visit! The staff makes the memorable experience as they are kind, accommodating, passionate and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfection. The GM Matt went above and beyond with every aspect of our visit and set an exemplary example for the rest of the staff when it comes to service and taking care of the guests. The location of this historic hotel cannot be matched as it provides easy access to the best of Park City when it comes to shops, restaurants, and bars on Main Street. Our favorite room is the Lofted King Suite since it can accommodate our two boys in the upstairs loft. The spacious rooms are beautifully decorated with each of the 12 rooms having its own distinct touches. We love the large windows and pretty views, gorgeous chandeliers, wood floors, stunning decor and luxe amenities like heated floors and turn-down service! There are a lot of luxury resort options in Park City but none that truly compare to WSH when it comes to location, service, F&B, and accommodations. It is a hotel you stay at when you want an exclusive, high-end experience that includes luxe amenities, impeccable service and accommodations, and delicious cuisine in an intimate setting where the staff gets to know you and you’re not just another guest.
