Place is a dump and is on pare with a super 8. Paint was peeling off the wall in my bathroom and there bleach stains all over the carpet. Honestly surprised that Marriott has not demanded a remodel. I stay in Marriott hotels at least once a week and this is by far one of the worst.

I have been a Marriott member for many years and thought I knew what I am going to get when I stay at a Marriott because of the brand. Because of the brand name I have not previously checked reviews but unfortunately this stay has changed that. I booked 4 rooms during this stay as I was sponsoring a school trip along with another staff member. I did not realize their were issues with any of our rooms until late in the evening when the students told me about their rooms. The students told me about the following issues in room 103: 1)Weird liquid substance on the counter. 2) Dirty Shower 3) Weird blob on bathroom floor 4) things on the bed (hairs, random trash specc, possibly food) 5) things in the toilet and on the seat prior to using it. Room 125: Has a bad smell that doesn't go away, and one bed had small stains and hair on it. I can't remember my room number but it was on the 3rd floor and did not notice any issues until I woke up and realized I had slept on blood stain near my head. The hallway carpet had bleach or something spilled all over it. Breakfast was lacking compared to every other Fairfield I have stayed at. One guest told the front desk the hot water for tea was brown and asked for some other water. If I had know all of the issues when we first checked in I would have asked to have our reservations canceled and gone to another hotel, but since I didn't realize any of this until late in the evening I didn't think I could do anything. I did let the front desk manager know about the issues and ask to have a our second night canceled without a penalty which they allowed us to do.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was clean. Other than that, this property is in real need of a refresh and I wouldn't recommend it. We checked in and went to our room. The carpet had many stains and was just plain dirty, and there was a huge wet spot that must have been from a leak of some sort. We asked for a different room and were accommodated. The next room was better, but the carpet was still in rough shape with stains and dirt, which makes the whole room feel dirty. The carpets throughout the hotel need cleaned desperately (or better yet, replaced). The ice machine on our floor didn't work. The parking area is too small for the size of the hotel. If you get there late at night you won't find a spot next to the hotel. You'll have to park at the Hampton Inn that is nearby. The parking spaces themselves are also very small. You just hope that the cars next to you are careful otherwise you'll leave with a ding in your door or worse. Particularly on the weekends, the rooms here are not cheap and I would say they are not worth it. Also not a great location. It's convenient if you are passing through the area as it's just off the interstate. But it's not close to either one of the universities in town. There are definitely better options that are better maintained, have better facilities, and are better located.

I had a late night arrival on Amtrak, which stops at the station nearby, making this hotel a very convenient choice. Fast and friendly check in at the front desk, with a great explanation of breakfast, Wi-Fi, and other amenities. My 2-queen room was quite spacious and featured fridge and microwave and a separate sink, closet, bathroom area. The Fairfield Inn at Provo was the perfect solution for my travels this trip. Using the hotel website allowed me to easily adjust my arrival time and check other details of the reservation.

The worst Fairfield we’ve ever stayed in. Would not recommend this place. Ugly decor; old, re modeled poorly. Ridiculous colors and “artwork”. We had the feeling the management didn’t notice how dirty and unkept the hotel was…the breakfast was the worst we had ever sampled in similar chain hotels. Had to go to a nearby Starbucks to get a decent coffee and something to eat.

The place could use a gentle upgrade. Parts seem worn out from overuse. That being said, it was good value, quick access to freeway, and walking distance to a few restaurants. I was just too tired to continue driving to Salt Lake City, so this worked. I did like the quiche for breakfast.

A 2* hotel with an attitude that no 5* has. The last name on my cc has a typo and because of this the Manager wouldn’t accept it as it doesn’t match my ID. My first and middle name match. 7 of 9 letters of my last name match. But she wouldn’t accept it. I should check-in via app and use my cc on my profile but that isn’t my business cc. After some lengthy discussions she admitted that everything else matched and finally accepted it. That was my first impression but not the last. The hotel is filthy, floors and floor mats were dirty, all the time, not only in the morning or in the evening or because it rained (it didn’t). The carpets in the room, the aisles were dirty, full of stains. The ac in the room must not have been cleaned in ages. Women hair in the shower. I understand that they don’t clean your room during your stay (do I?) but they don’t seem to thoroughly clean at all. Breakfast was terrible, only the waffles you do yourself were acceptable. The coffee, cold. At 7am still no butter or cream cheese. I will never go back.

Their online check in worked well for us. The staff were courteous kind and professional. Riegan was extremely helpful. The Continental Breakfast had so many options (waffles, quiche, cereal, yogurt, along with Gluten-free options. I will stay here for our next visit.

When I first called and made our reservation, I specifically asked for a top floor quiet suite. I was assured that would be the case. When we arrived we checked in and once again asked if this would be a quiet room. The answer was a positive yes. Not the case. As it turned out we were practically on University Ave. Constant loud traffic noise the entire night. Ear plugs and white noise made no difference. Why weren’t we placed away from the street. I thought there might be some sort of compensation for our non-sleep when we checked out. They were sorry about the noise but that was it.
