This hotel is a convenient location if you are traveling through on I-70, in many ways it's a typical Fairfield and didn't stand out one way or another. Checked in on line but waited 5-10 minutes for the front desk person to be located to...More
This stay was the most expensive on our latest three-night trip, but I was very pleased with our room and breakfast. Carpeting and bed linens were all new. The bed coverlet was the whitest and freshest I've ever seen--likewise the pillows. Our rest was extremely...More
lovely hotel. very friendly staff, clean rooms, the best bed ever! all the amenities and a delish breakfast.we had a beautiful view from the window to the green fields and snow capped mountains. recommend for anyone needing an overnight or longer stay in richfield, utah.
Location: Great area, just minutes from interstate I-70. I stayed here since Capital Reef National Park was only 1.5 - 2 hours away from here. If you are driving up to Salt Lake City it will be about 4 hours away.

Just did a Google search and it looks like its just short of an hour and a half away. There are a couple small non-franchise hotels and motels in the small town of Teasdale/Grover area right outside Capital Reef Park. Just an idea. Also, may look at the B&B's in the Teasdale/Grover area. Both hotel/motels and B&B's average between $66 and $250 a night. Also, looks like camping right outside the park in Fruita.
But if you don't mind the drive, Fairfield Inn is great hotel.
Hope that helps. Cheers!
