We booked through Interval International Exchange. We were told by some other guests that the grounds had been greatly improved since they had last visited. There is an adult pool and family pool and spa which was wonderful as we enjoyed the quiet of the adult pool many times. There were many families there enjoying the pool area; it was Memorial Day weekend. Location is on a golf course. Our unit was directly on the golf course. Beautiful shade trees in front of entrance. The unit was at bottom of small hill with no vehicle access but luggage racks were available. Parking spaces were adequate. All units are 2 bedroom. Relatively small but adequate for 4. Second bedroom did not have a TV. Bathrooms are small and dated with low toilets. There are safety bars that can be used to pull up If necessary. The beds were comfortable. Living room, not so much but we find that common in time share rentals. Kitchen is small but adequate with all needed necessities including dishwasher detergent as well as sink detergent; shampoo and body lotions and toothpaste. Refrigerator did not have ice maker. No washer/dryer in unit but facilities available at the check in area. Units were clean, no problems with bugs or ants as described in another review. There was an odor of sulfur in the master bath that was not present every day and unit had musty smell upon arrival. We purchased room deodorizers which helped a great deal during the stay. Reported sulfur odor on departure. Called maintenance only one time for towel bar repair and response was very quick. Area around St. George is beautiful and very convenient to national and state parks. Made day trips to Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, Zion National Park, Cedar Breaks, Snow Canon and Quail Hollow. Very, very beautiful community and area. We also went to the Saturday "Farmer's Market" downtown which was quaint and fun with some local artists, craftspeople, food, music and fun. I would return to this facility.

We stayed at ORE St. George on an RCI exchange. When we got to our unit, there was an odor of urine coming from the master bath. The office had closed for the evening, so I called the next day and was told that there was no one available to clean because it was Sunday and everyone was off work. I also informed them that I had spotted ants in the bathtub. I was assured the unit would be cleaned and sprayed the following morning. We got back at the end of the day and the bathroom had not been cleaned. Called the office again and the cleaning people had gone home for the day, but I was promised they would come at 10 a.m. the next day (Tue). We were there until almost 11 and no one showed up. Once again, we got back after the day's activities and discovered our unit hadn't been serviced. This time we called the office and they told us that the cleaning people had showed up but didn't come in because we weren't there. This is pretty atypical, and no one told us we had to be there to let them in. Still, if they had come at the agreed upon time, we would have been there. Tuesday night I woke in the middle of the night with an insect crawling across my face. My daughter woke up in the morning with a good-sized cockroach in bed with her (see photo). My husband noted that there was no seal between the bottom of the front door and the threshhold, leaving a gap big enough for rodents to enter if they wanted to, so all the spraying in the world wouldn't control the vermin. Also, someone took a dump in the family pool, so it was closed for cleaning. I inquired at the office if my two teen daughters could use the adult pool in the mean time and was told absolutely not. I can certainly understand how adults would like to have a quiet place without a bunch of little kids running around screaming and splashing (and using the pool for a toilet), but 15- and 17- year-old girls aren't going to be doing those things, and, under the circumstances, I think a little flexibility was in order here. Other issues were trivial in comparison, but I mention them for completeness: the wireless internet did not work in the unit as promised; the air conditioning was barely able to keep up with the extreme temperatures (108 degrees in the afternoon), and the bedroom fans made so much noise you couldn't sleep with them running. Also, the way the ceiling fan/light fixture in the living room was wired, you couldn't have the fan going unless the light was on as well. So if someone were using the sleeper sofa, they couldn't have the fan on at night. The bedroom was so narrow you had to side-step between the bed and the dresser to get to the closet. What really made this such a bad stay was the utter lack of concern on behalf of the office staff. I've traveled quite a bit and I realize things happen sometimes, but no one seemed to be willing to take any initiative to correct problems. There is no mechanism to handle anything outside of regular business hours. After the bugs in the beds, we decided to leave and no one asked us why we were checking out early. I volunteered the information, but no apology, no follow-up, nothing.
