I met my dad to ski at Snowbird and Alta who had a conference and locked in reduced rater. It is a very well maintained and nice property with great customer service. I don't think it is at the level to justify the normal nightly rate, I would expect a 1BR suite for that amount with some of the "fancier"...

Convenient location for skiing. For non skiers there is a beautiful spa with a rooftop hot tub & pool, extensive spa services, a gym and daily yoga classes. There are two restaurants on premises, El Chanate, offers Mexican and The Aerie is continental. There are other choices a short walk or shuttle ride away at Snowbird Center. The rooms are...

We have skied Snowbird since 2008 but we have never stayed at The Cliff Lodge. We arrived early so we knew our room wouldn't be ready. The very nice person at the front desk told us she would text us when the room was available. We had the bell hops hold our luggage so that we could eat lunch at...

Not much choice in the immediate area for hotels. Hotel itself was a bit dated, rooms average. Location of course was excellent. Food was fairly expensive. We were doing a road trip to a few other resorts so preferred to stay next to the slopes. Next time we hit Snowbird/Alta we might consider staying in Salt Lake and driving the...

Ate at The Bistro, skied, drank, and it was amazing. This is the mountain to go to for some of the best terrain. Had never stayed at the Cliff Lodge before and even sleeping on the floor didn't mind it one bit. The views are stunning, the food was world class. I could live up here for a week at...

Good ski-in, ski-out location served by a small lift. Nice touch - ski lockers are heated and ventilated, so my boots dried well at night. Floor plan is confusing, and elevators are slow. There is always a wait for the restaurants at dinner, and the food was excellent, but way overpriced. The rooms have a great view of the mountain,...

The Cliff used to be amazing. The decor, the customer service, the food, the pool on the top of the hotel that had a restaurant and served poolside drinks etc. Now that pool is reserved for the spa guests only and there are no food or beverages offered anywhere. why would you want to pay money to sit by a...

This review will be very picky and focus on a lot of small things under the theory that it's the small things that makes a resort special. You can certainly have a nice time here (we did in general), but if you are looking for advice for a super experience there are better options elsewhere. You should also note this...

Rooms are tired and very average. Snowbird have a monopoly so prices are inflated. The elevators are quite remarkable - I think they deliberately make them abysmally slow to force the guests to engage in idle conversation about how much they suck. Service is poor - no warning at check in that the main restaurant requires a reservation. When we...

Just stayed at the Cliff for 4 nights. There are two reasons we would return. One-for the ski in/ski out access. Depending on where you finish your day, it's a piece of cake to get back to the lockers at the end of the day. The best thing about the place, though, is that every staff member we encountered was...
