The cabins are large and have everything you need. The area is so peaceful and beautiful. The town of Torrey is a couple of miles away and there is a general store where you can get meat to cook on the BBQ. Charcoal is provided by the owners. The refrigerator is large and even had ice cube trays in the...

Felt more like we were staying at a friends cabin than a rental. Everything was vary clean, and well arranged. Pine Shadows is easy to find and close to many sites; but still vary private. Debbie and Steve met us shortly after we arrived and answered any questions we had. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to...

Took my brother and SIL on a trip to southern Utah in mid-July and our first stop was Capitol Reef. Lodging in the immediate area is pretty lame, save for this find off the beaten path. We stayed in cabin 5 with two queen beds, kitchenette and full bath. Everything was very clean and cozy (the bathroom was a huge...

Easy to dine in or head to Torrey in five minutes to eat out. About 25 minutes to Capitol Reef Visitor Centre at Fruita. Plus, Debbie is a...

I can't believe our luck finding Pine Shadows for our recent trip to Capitol Reef National Park. We ended up loving the surroundings of Pine Shadows almost as much as the park itself! The cabin was perfect for our family, and we can't wait to stay again. It was convenient, clean, and family and per friendly. Thank you, Debbie and...

Every cabin has a front and back entrance, and a covered porch for viewing the rock formations, the Velvet Ridge, cedars, and pinion pines. As the early morning sun changes its position in the sky, one can sit and watch these sandstone mountains turn bright orange, then coral, and finally almost a pure white. The spacious cabins have two queen beds and a television with VCR. Bathrooms have bathtub with shower. A kitchen affords each guest with the option of cooking in or eating out.
