Twin Farms is 300 acres of serene countryside with an assortment of activities, a small hill that doubles as hiking terrain and ski slopes, a lake and a pond, tennis court, bikes, etc. It's also 10 wonderfully appointed individual cottages, a pub, a SPA and many other amenities where the staff takes extra care of your every needs in the...

I probably will not do it justice to explain how wonderful this place is. I've never written a TripAdvisor review but felt compelled this time for several reasons. 1) Service. First off, I had to have emergency surgery on my jaw/tooth the day before we were supposed to arrive. While we almost cancelled the trip, the doctor advised me to...

Twin Farms offers one of the top luxury getaway experiences in the Northeast. Set on an old ski area, it is an assortment of rooms and cottages in a bucolic New England setting. The price is high, but it is all-inclusive. We stayed in the Lodge with another couple so had the shared common area to ourselves. The suites were...

We eloped at Twin Farms and the experience was just magical. The three most striking features of Twins Farms are: (1) The accommodations are just breathtaking…we stayed in the Aviary cottage (and got married in the Chalet cottage) and it's hard to imagine more beautiful accommodations anywhere; (2) They treat you like royalty; (3) The resort itself and the ample...

We wanted a quiet vacation to ourselves so we booked a week during low season. It was great having everything to ourselves - the pub, the furo, the gym, the barn room, the entire ski hill, the fire pits, the pond. The wine pairings were excellent. It was particularly fun finding small surprises whether it was S'mores at a bonfire...

My husband I travelled here for a few days to get away and enjoy a New England ski weekend. For the cost of our stay, we were expecting to be blown away. We most certainly were not. While the staff were all friendly, there just wasn't anything really wow about this place. Our accommodations were fine, rustic, not necessarily super...

Dear maryanne007newyork, It was a pleasure to have met you both during your stay. Thank You for taking the time to write your thoughts about your experience with us. I and the rest of the staff were truly disheartened to hear that we did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for that and will improve on the areas you...

Had wanted to visit Twin Farms for years but they did not allow pets until late 2013. The Meadow Cottage was well appointed and perfectly situated for hiking with the dog. Great service. Good food. The cooking demonstration was the perfect activity for a rainy day. Delicious packed lunch for our trip home.

We booked Twin Farms on a whim this past summer for a two-night stay. Arriving late on a Friday after a long drive from NYC, we were directed straight to the dining room, as dinner was already in process. The meal was good, although we were a bit frazzled after our long drive and not in the best state to...

My husband and I visited TF as part of the Stave puzzle weekend. It is in a beautiful, peaceful setting which would be breath taking when the fall colours are peaking. We stayed in "The Woods" cottage which was about a 5 minute walk to the main buildings and it is slightly up hill in both directions...really! Nice looking on...

This was our first venture in to the very special world of Twin Farms, in Barnard, Vermont. Twin Farms is settled in an unbelievably beautiful region of rolling hills and unobtrusive quietness. The thoroughfares within 10 miles of Twin Farms all seem to lead to quaint farms, adorable clapboard homes, the sweet smell of woods and hay, and an ever...
