Our first impression was with the owner, who is the sweetest, most friendly guy around. The room was more than expected, and we were so glad to support a Mom & Pop business. BUT: we weren't told that the motel is actually in Berlin, not Barre, so we got lost and the owners need to give this info in advance.

First, we would stay here again without hesitation. THe rooms are very clean, including the carpets, which i many places are stained. We took two rooms and the only reason I did not award the full five stars is because in one of the rooms there was a slight musty smell that did not go away even with the windows...

Last minute stay... Wanted something close to hi way 100. TWC was the cheapest around. Motel was like stepping back in time. Wonderful owners who are most pleasant and helpful. But the room and bath was very small. It was clean and we got a good night sleep. Really just seems over-priced, but it seems in line with the area....

Extremely friendly owners. Small motel conveniently located just off major highway, and on major commercial road into town. Rooms are small, but quaint and as a tourist only needed a place to lay our heads at night. Room was very clean and convenient parking outside our door. Great value for the service we received and didn't have the big hotel...

A vintage motor court and cabins with parking right outside your door, in a commercial area. We enjoyed the complimentary morning coffee and conversation with the proprietor in the office. The Wayside Restaurant just up the road is a great place for breakfast. We had Room 10. It was cramped but clean, and it slept three with a double bed...

We were exhausted after a long ride from Quebec. Decided to stay in Vermont for the night. We stopped at the welcome center and asked if they knew of any rooms available for the night. We were told that Twin City Motel had one room left. The old world motel was a good place to lay your head. Donna (owner)...

This place is small but clean. The staff was outstandingly friendly. Minimal emanates . No food. No coffee in the rooms but ready and waiting in the office. What they lack in emanates they make up for with the kindest most caring owner ever! He was very biker friendly which made for a great night!

We were pleasantly surprised. Although this place is a mid-century relic, it is beautifully preserved (I was in love with the blue bathroom fixtures) and our room was immaculate. Comfort items (a fridge and a microwave) were provided. It's not fancy, and doesn't pretend to be. Just a terrific spot at a very fair price.

Surrounded by great m'cycle roads, this place is a gem. Rooms are clean, amenities a very good. What makes this place SPECIAL is these guys CARE. When we arrived, he had a little piece of wood for our kickstand (90+ temp, the tar was potentially soft), it rained overnight, he had towels hanging on the bike to wipe up!!! He...
