I stayed in an efficiency at Edgewater Resort with my daughter while we were touring colleges this summer. What a beautiful spot! The sunsets are gorgeous. I also enjoyed the old school atmosphere. This great spot on the lake is family friendly and is a nice relaxing spot. I can't wait to go back.

Another perfect vacation with approximately 30 family members. The food and service at the Trac Restaurant was wonderful, as always. The salad bar, homemade breads and entree selections are amazing. Relaxing at the Fish Tale downstairs is a nightly ritual. Plenty of space to dock the boats. Lazing by the pool or sitting in the Adirondack chairs that line the... More

I grew up in the area and have since moved to Florida. I brought my boyfriend up for the first time and knew we would be meeting friends at Fishtail and drink so we stayed here. Yes, it is dated. BUT the view itself is worth the cost and the staff is beyond nice. They went out of their way... More

We were late in finding a hotel. We could have driven on to Rutland, but it was late. We were satisfied with the price, the room was small, but the beds were comfortable. The next day I realized that I had left 2 pieces of clothing in the room. I called about 3 times over the next 4 days and... More

This property is for sale and therefore the owners are not putting any money into it so it continues to run down. If this continues, the place will become more shabby. If it is sold, perhaps the new owners will fix it up. However, it's also possible that it will be torn down and replaced by lakeside houses. While the... More

We booked a room one week ahead, was told that we were upgrade to "honeymoon suite". A guy told us that we are staying at grandma's room, room #9. It is a big room, could fit a large family. We returned to the Edgewater resort for a family reunion. From the perspective of type of accommodations, it’s perfect. It’s located directly on lake and has a variety of room types to accommodate different guests. For boaters, there’s a launch and docking right at the resort. Swimming is possible in the lake or the pool. There’s a small swing set*... More

For the second year in a row, my family has stayed at Edgewater Resort for a family reunion. The rooms are extremely outdated, but you can't complain about the price. The restaurant across the street (which can be included as a meal plan) is great and the bar under the restaurant is fun on a Friday night. I stayed in... More

Friendly service, comfy beds, delicious meals. I asked where to get hot water for tea - the owner provided hot water, cups, and a tray of homemade cookies for the entire group! Sunset over lake - wow!

The Edgewater Resort is an older resort that has been kept up well. Has so many options at their resort to stay in, efficiencies, B&B, Motel, Condo's, Chalet and Apartments and all are very economical. On top of all that they have a Restaurant the Trac - In Restaurant, we haven't eaten their yet but our first night at the... More
