From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left the parking lot for home our stay at the Latchis Hotel was perfect! It is just as described, charming, historic, warm and right downtown. Our Queen room, Urban view, was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and the perfect size for two. We had a great time walking Main...

The hotel is an old theater, and part of the theater is still active. Location is perfect, and a 3 minute walk to Whetstone Brewing. Great food and brews! Everything in the hotel is quite old, but don't confuse old with dirty!

Oh a whim my husband and I decided to take a weekend trip. We ended up finding this hotel through it's own website and we were happ with our stay. We love to explore and we were thrilled this hotel was right in downtown and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, and funky food co-op. Our room was clean...

This wonderful retro hotel is located in the heart of Brattleboro. You can walk from here to shops, restaurants, theatres, the town as a whole. A very friendly staff, room impecccable, and a lovely weimaraner named Paris in the lobby to greet you.

Stayed here after not quite making it to Mount Snow in the blizzard (that's what you get with a crappy compact rental car). We made a last minute reservation and the stay was extremely welcoming. They gave us some great restaurant recommendations for some tired/hungry travelers!! The room was well stocked with a mini fridge and tv with many channels....

The Latchis is a real gem of a place in a real gem of a town. Brattleboro itself is hip and quirky, and it's great to be right downtown in the thick of it, and connected to the gorgeous movie palace below. This is a 1930s hotel that maintains much of its historic charm while adding in just enough amenities...

Stayed at the Brattleboro Latchis Hotel for one night only, midweek, on my way home from a visit to NYC. First time to the hotel. We loved it! Gorgeous Art Deco style hotel right on Brattleboro's Main Street, walking distance to everything. The hotel's lobby is small, a very small breakfast nook adjoins. The decor is so perfect, it's like...

The Latchis is a one of a kind experience. Set in quaint downtown Brattleboro, VT, next to the Connecticut River, the Latchis is a charming 77 year old hotel, with charm and grace. Renovated tastefully with attention to its art deco roots, it is clean, comfortable and affordable. Customer service is exceptional; the staff are attentive and invested in your...

Thank you so much for staying with us and for leaving your wonderful review. The two items you mentioned about soundproofing and parking are two items that, unfortunately are very difficult to resolve. The town has not been receptive to working out a partnership with us for additional parking so we have what we have and of course there is...

Lovely hotel, great staff. Highly recommend seeing a movie at the attached theatre which is old school and beautiful. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff great and gave good information of places to visit and eat.

Uncomfortable bed, dirty blanket and bodily fluid on floor. When we checked in and went to our room, there were dirty towels on the floor. This place is a nightmare. The bugs in the light were a nice touch

I am shocked to see this review and it seems outside the reviews of other guests experiences of our hotel. Our hotel rooms are inspected daily after each refresh so we can guarantee our guests a perfectly clean, crisp, well presented room. I personally approve the inspection of the rooms and respond to any maintenance issues. Our carpets are cleaned...
