My husband and I just celebrated 25 years together. We wanted to go somewhere special and decided on the Willard Street Inn. We couldn't have made a better choice!!! A few things really stand out. The first is the owners. Although they had a 2 night stay minimum policy, they allowed us to stay just for one night because it...

The Inn provided exactly what I was hoping for -- a beautiful, serene setting in which to create my own mansion mini-retreat. Luxuriating in the spacious and perfectly appointed guest room, soaking in a vintage tub while sipping my favorite (BYOB) bubbly and listening to soothing cable jazz programming, absorbing the lovely grounds and gardens from a sunny Adirondack chair,...

Beautiful house. It was wonderful to sit in the 'sun room' and have our breakfast. Our room was in the eaves - I assume the old servants quarters. We had lots of space and an additional room with bed/settee. The only thing I wasn't keen on, was the bathroom - it was very crowded as had shower and separate bath,...

A wonderful place to stay. An 1800's house with a gracious breakfast area, several sitting rooms, on each of the three floors. Our bedroom, Alexandra's Cove, was just what it looked liked online with a view of Lake Champlain. The breakfasts were delicious and for nibbling during the day there were homemade cookies & muffins and hot and cold beverages....

Dear Karen, Sincerest thanks for your kind words of praise! Alexandra's Alcove has always been one of my favorite rooms in the house, though it's hard to choose between them. So glad you felt at home here. We hope to have you back! All the best, Nicole Christopher Media & Guest Services Manager

The Inn is clean, pretty, and the staff were all very nice and helpful. The breakfasts weren't anything to write home about, but they were OK. We were generally very happy with our room (The Woodhouse Suite), but the mattress sagged a bit and should probably be replaced. It was, however, an overall pleasant stay. I would recommend it to...

As we travel round New England the places get better and this is no exception . The only place though we couldn't get into our room early , there is a sign on the front door stating entry is from 3 - 7pm and is locked to you beforehand, there is plenty to do in Burlington to keep you busy....

From the welcoming hosts to the wonderful breakfast choices to the well appointed rooms, our stay was outstanding! Located close to Lake Champlain and downtown Burlington, we had so many choices to make on how to fill our days. Our visit was perfect because it started at the Willard Street Inn. We highly recommend this Inn.

I spent several nights in Room 16, Alexandra's Alcove, on the 3rd floor. It's a lovely, small room tucked under the eaves with a tiny operational skylight with a view of Lake Champlain. I'm short and still bumped my head in the bathroom, so I'd advise taller visitors to opt for another room - but otherwise it was lovely. The...
