This was our second stay at Cornwall Orchards Bed and Breakfast in Cornwall, VT. Both stays coincided with NESCAC Swimming and Diving Championships at Middlebury College. Bob and Juliet Gerlin are the perfect hosts. They are kind, chatty, helpful, but very much in the background of the B&B. The rooms are clean, lovely painted and decorated, but not over fussy.... Stayed one night at the Cornwall B&B, just down the road from Middlebury, at the beginning of the foliage season. The Cornwall B&B is a wonderful old home built in the late 1700's, and it was interesting to see some of the old wood beams and doors. The B&B was nicely and simply decorated, with gorgeous wood floors. The home... More

Though on Route 30, this lovely B&B is quiet and restful. Beautiful rooms with private bath overlook a bucolic Vermont field. Bob and Juliet are welcoming and warm hosts. Breakfast was amazing thick french toast, maple syrup, fruit, yogurt, homemade granola and excellent coffee. They were very generous to accomodate my son's diet and provide him something different. If you... More

My immediate impression was how spare the house was. In many ways this is very restful and the house is very relaxing, as are the gardens. Bob and Juliet are incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. They were exceedingly helpful in making arrangements for our dinner, as well as our bike ride the next day. Unfortunately, despite being... More

Stayed there for two nights last week, we were in VT for a family event. Our room and the grounds were lovely. Bob and Juliet were the perfect hosts. Enjoyed breakfast. And they were very accommodating when we arrived with two grandkids in tow! The kids loved the grounds and kept searching for the chickens.

Juliet and Bob were wonderful hosts during our family's stay with them for my sister-in-law's wedding. Sitting on their back porch overlooking their lovely grounds on a sunny day was about as good as it gets. The rooms are wonderful and the service genuinely friendly. A perfect place to stay if you are in Middlebury.

Bob and Juliet were wonderful hosts during my recent stay....as their only guest, as it happened. Very comfortable room, bed. Everything clean and neat. Individual thermostat in the room an asset. Superb breakfast. WiFi a little weak far from the router, but fine closer.

Welcoming -offered refreshment as soon as wee arrived. Folder of local menus to help us make a dinner choice in town. Excellent directions. House lovely: sunset on back porch, beds comfortable and breakfast substantial and tasty. Highly recommend.

If you are visting the Middlebury area, you could not find a better place to stay. The inn is close to the college and town, but is in a lovely, quiet country setting. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and the breakfast is delicious (the eggs come from the inn's own chickens). Our new first choice of places to... More

Bob and Juliet were wonderful hosts during our stay in October. Their inn is uncluttered, non fussy, clean and comfortable. They were wonderful hosts, not overbearing but available if we needed advice. I saw that another reviewer complained about the bed and political posters, but I think they must have stayed at another inn. My bed was comfortable and I... More
