We visited Naulakha on two occasions since our friends were renting it for their wedding weekend. We were staying at another Landmark Trust property not too far away. The house and grounds were immaculate and it was just so charming and peaceful. The quintessential Vermont getaway. No TV, just a record player (I think, unless someone we were with brought...

Our stay at was truly memorable. I have not been able to stop telling people at home about the house, the town, and our entire experience. When I first found out about Naulakha, a few days before our stay, I knew, with the new Jungle Book movie headlining is all the local theaters, that it was a case of serendipity...

This was such a treat for us to stay here for a week and invite some friends (the house sleeps 8). The house, grounds, and surrounding area is beautiful, and there is a wide variety of things to see and do. This is a Landmark USA trust property that belonged to Rudyard Kipling and has some of his original property/furnishings....

This house is wonderfully clean, comfortable and meticulously maintained. Landmark Trust is known for renovating old relics or interest and turning them into delightful vacation spots. This house is no exception. It sleeps 8 comfortably, making it a great family vacation spot. This is a historical home.The Landmark Trust is famous for rehabilitating and renting such properties, both here and across the pond. Please do not come here unless you are (at very least) respectfully fond of Rudyard Kipling. This is the only home he built and it sleeps 8. It is most ideal for families whose children enjoyed _reading_ Jungle Book....
