Second time back and couldn't be happier. Was nice to be remembered after only being there once before. Chris and Karri are wonderful hosts. We stayed in room 1 this time, which was very nice. Smaller then the rest of the rooms but perfect for an extended weekend trip for a couple. The wood work in the room was a...

Owners of "B"&"B" are not on site . . . "reception desk" is by phone check in to reach "management" . . . we have been fond of stays at various B&B's but not this one . . . exterior looks good on Internet but structure needs quite a bit of maintenance.

Andrew C, Chris and I (Karri) apologize that you felt that we were not readily available to you. We live on property right next door to the Inn and work very hard to be available to our quests at all times, which I explained to you when I had checked you and your wife in. I remember giving you a...

Great little place within walking distance of everything in East Burke. Owners were friendly and the food was outstanding. We even learned a little French in the communal living area, lots of mountain bikers from all over in town. Be sure to enjoy the outdoor fire pit by the creek -

My son was marrying a girl from St. Johnsbury and I needed a place to stay for my family. When I phoned they arranged for my daughters to stay in an apartment by themselves, and my sister and I to stay in a large room with two Queens and a twin. It was perfect. It was walking distance to town...

We really enjoyed our stay while on our family biking vacation, we liked it enough we even spent an extra night. From the fire pit by the babbling brook to the great breakfasts to start the day, it was a wonderful stay.

As we were travelling out to Eastern Canada, we made a stop in East Burke to do some mountain biking. I booked the Village Inn based on previous reviews. Unfortunately, we only booked 1 night. The Village Inn is easy to find as it is on the main street in East Burke. We stayed in room #7 and it was...

My husband and I and another couple stayed at The Village Inn for 3 nights in July 2016 since it is close to Kingdom Trails. We chose room 7, which was large, and included two queen beds, a walk-in closet, a full bathroom with a tub/shower, and a sitting area in the room with a futon, chairs, tv. The room...

The room was large, comfortable, and attractive. The location was within a reasonable driving distance of some great attractions. For instance, fishing and/or boating at Lake Willoughby as well as other lakes and streams in the region. Some of the other guests came there for the mountain biking experience, which they described as world-class. There is also skiing in the...

The moment we walked in , we felt at home. Well maintained rooms, great grounds and terrific breakfast. my only comments is that the mattresses in our room needed upgrading, but other than that it was a great experience. Located across the street from the famous "Kingdom Trails" in Northern Vermont, this is for sure a "Bikers" hotel, with secure...

My husband and I just spent 5 fabulous days at The Village Inn in East Burke, Vermont. Karri, the innkeeper, was beyond helpful. The room was well-kept, the bed was very comfortable, and we slept better than we do at home! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained; we spent time sitting by the stream, listening to the birds and...
