A highly recommended place to stay and visit. If you have a connection to the program of recovery, then your stay will mean even more than you know. What an experience. A historical landmark that holds meetings during specific days (see their website for days/times) and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

This was our third time staying in the Wilson house having travelled to Vermont from Ireland. We feel a special connection to the house due to its association with Bill Wilson, who was one of the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous and co writer of the 12 Steps. Each other time we loved our visit and this time Was good as...

I loved my stay here! If you are in a program you will give this place 6 stars because..it is all about recovery. You feel spiritually at home. Room #2 has a private bathroom and queen bed. I looked at every room...one cuter than the next. Super clean and cozy. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Some people volunteer for service...

I loved my November visit to the historic Wilson House. My room was comfortable and clean. The bathrooms, though shared, are plentiful so there was no waiting in lines. The staff and volunteers go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They even adapted to my vegan needs!

I found it very odd that there is such a huge impact available in this comunity for so much in health and good living and yet so little being done in the area. You have the Wilson house, it is so so, but great for history. Then up the road 2miles is the Inn [ Aerie Inn] where Bill and...

Restored in the 80's this was the birth place of bill wilson, the bartop he was born behind is hung in the large meeting room in the back. The Inn is restored to its former glory if your into old wideplank pine floors and new england decor then you will be in heaven. Its well run by a staff of...

A classic B&B set in a small village. An added feature is the history behind the house (make sure you ask!). The 'fireplace room' is unlike anything I have seen in my travels. Also the Griffith Library is a good place to visit across the church green.

I had a wonderful time spending Thanksgiving in the Wilson House! I was able to attend meeting's at the house. They serve a continental breakfast in the morning and Friday and Saturday evening they serve dinner. Prices for dinner range between $12.00 and $15.00. The house is run mostly by volunteer staff. Most of the staff was friendly and easy...

A charming Inn with reasonable rates and beautifully furnished rooms in the old-fashioned style which befits the house. Possible to visit the neighboring house where Bill W. grew up. Close to the very beautiful (and green) little Emerald Lake in a state park of that name with excellent large, leafy camp sites. Just down the road is Manchester, Vermont. This...
