We continue our quiet wander of the main street of Grafton and step into the charming and historic Grafton Inn, one of the oldest operating inns in America. The Inn opened its doors in 1801 and quickly became a favourite for local social events and meetings and popular among literary types (Kipling was a guest in 1892) and primarily a...

We have wanted to stay at the Grafton Inn for many years on our annual travels to Vermont but for some reason just never made it. Well, finally, we did make it to the Inn and boy are we glad. This is a wonderful place full of history, good food, reasonable cost and excellent service. Grafton itself is a must...

In this very sleepy little village town that is picture postcard 19th c Vermont, this Inn is a truly comfortable and beautifully maintained get-away. We stayed in one of the houses near the Inn which was charmingly appointed. The bed was super comfortable, high quality sheets and pillows, a wedge of Grafton cheese and crackers awaited us which was nice...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Grafton Inn for a work trip and was blown away by the comfort and history that surrounded me. The first impression, with it's small corridors, and hidden staircases and quirky room names was one of delight and surprise. Just getting to our rooms felt like a treasure hunt! I am not going...

The Inn is very historic with period furniture and comfortable rooms. The food was incredible and the staff very friendly. The best part is the location. The Inn is in the center of a very peacful, quiet village. There is a market that sells organic food and chesse from the local cheese factory. There is an outdoor center that has...

We have stayed here several times and never been disappointed. It is quaint, clean, and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good, but they served our appetizer and entre at the same time. We had the entre returned, but it was then served cold. Breakfast was great.. The rooms are clean, quiet , and well furnished.
