This lovely 213 year old inn -- also called the Old Tavern at Grafton -- has several warm, inviting, common rooms and fireplaces scattered over its several nearby properties. There are rooms in the inn proper or in charming houses next to the inn. These individual houses with common rooms and private guests rooms are a great place for an...

This lovely inn is filled with delightful common rooms with old prints and cartoons. The bed rooms are charming. The village of Grafton is the essence of New England rural life. Ulysses Grant, Rudyard Kipling, Teddy Roosevelt and many other famous figures have stayed here. The breakfast is fabulous and included with your room. The inn also has fine dining...

Attended a wedding in mid October, and the setting, inn, food, and service were impeccable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the outdoor ceremony with the ground covered with leaves was beautiful, and the barn turned out to be a great place for a wedding party with 7 or 8 Vermont beers on tap. Even though the inn is...

Delightful, small, old hotel in exceptionally beautiful village in the Green Mountains. Very friendly staff. Our room was in a separate building across the road, which was not a problem. It was quite spacious and very comfortable. Very good breakfast (with some rather unnecessary restrictions as to what you can choose) served at your table. Excellent meals in restaurant or...

I've stayed at the Grafton Inn twice now. Once for a weekend visit and once for my wedding. It's the most relaxing and beautiful place to stay. There's so much to do outdoors and the food is fantastic. The friendly and accommodating staff is what really sets this inn apart. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are pristine,...

First week of October 2014, leaves colorful, temperature crisp in the morning, warm in the afternoon. The Inn is beautiful, cozy, warm, staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms upstairs in the main building, and across the street in two other buildings. Rooms across the street were good size, bed comfortable, shower, very good, quiet, parking, great period furniture, use of...

A nice little inn, very isolated in Vermont. Parts of it are very old and look the age. We stayed in Cricketers 2 which was good but it could do with some curtains/blinds on the front window! Very quiet apart from upstairs banging about at 6:30am!! We had a problem with the car we rented and the staff were very...

Stayed at the Grafton Inn during late September. It was such a fun experience. The inn is absolutely charming. We stayed in the main hotel building and loved it. The room was spacious as was the bath. The staff both at the desk and in the restaurant were so friendly and gracious. What a storybook little town. Loved walking around...

Went to a wedding at the Grafton Inn. The parents of the groom had high praise for the support they received for the wedding. The rooms were great but a little on the chilly side. Breakfast was solid with especially good bacon. The countryside is beautiful and must be astonishing when the leaves change. We had a great time because...
