Decide to take a spur of the moment fall road trip thru Vermont. The hotel selection was close to none-except the Cascades Lodge in Killington. This isn't my preferred type of hotel but it was either, not take the trip or stay at Cascades. So we booked the hotel. It was easy to find and you could see the ski slopes...

The manager, Pia, was terribly rude to all of us. She welcomed us by screaming at us and was very condescending during the check in. They advertise as a "pet friendly hotel" but expected our dog to be placed in a bag in or room during the day when we were not there. Who says something like that? The toilet...

While older, this hotel is a more affordable option during periods of high demand at Killington. The weather was very windy and freezing and they had trouble with the heating, but the innkeeper and staff are very attentive. The rooms are very clean and neatly managed. The pool area was outstanding with crystal clear water.

Close to skiing and close to restaurants. Hotel is well kept but old; thin walls, plumbing problems. Staff was nice. They offer breakfast which was well done. If you are researching a trip to Killington - stay at the Grand. Central reservations steered me wrong and my expectations were not met hotel wise. Hotel had no impact on our trip...

The rooms were dated (toilet, shower-head, pictures) but clean. We had a small dorm size refrigerator on the floor, should have been placed on a stand. Was on a bus tour and this was our second overnight stop. They had a welcome reception (complimentary wine and cheese) and served my group a hearty breakfast buffet and each night a delicious...

Good budget hotel. Facilities are old, but well-maintained. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel has a very small gym, an indoor pool and a living area which includes a bar. Breakfast is pretty standard.

I went to a Popeyes in Kissimmee, FL and the employees (including manager) didn't know what they were doing. It took me a long time to order because they kept helping other guests and talking to each other while I was trying to order. The girl didn't know how to complete my order and had to ask the manager (who...

We wanted to get away to do some hiking and wandering around Vermont and found this small boutique hotel to use as our base camp. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor is a bit dated but we didn't mind. The free breakfast was good and filled our tummies between hikes and adventures. Each room had a deck so...

The location is wonderful. The people that work here were very nice. The breakfast was so so, could be improved. The indoor pool was clean and nice;the hot tub was good too! We had a fun time and found the room size very comfortable.
