I recently stayed at the Equinox Resort in the Charles Orvis Inn from 2/16-2/21 (Presidents wknd and winter break for kids) I reserved a 1 bedroom Suite. Check-in was a breeze. We got in very late and it took no more than a few minutes at the front desk. I asked if someone could come and help with my bags...

I really wanted to like this place. First of all, the location is great. Very close to Bromley and the outlets. Cute little town. Beautiful views. Our room was large, but extremely drafty and the bathroom was tired and in need of updating. If Im being honest, the entire hotel was cold. I mean everywhere. I have never been so...

Labor Day 8 years ago our son got married at Hildene and we stayed at the Equinox, but we really didn't have time to relax and enjoy what it had to offer. So, we decided to take a little winter break and visit in a more relaxed mode. We booked a weekday special for three nights whereby you get the...

The Equinox is a SPG luxury property with an awesome old New England atmosphere with the quality of a typical SPG luxury collection property. The rooms are a little small but that is minor since who spends much time in the room. Only 25 minutes to Stratton Mountain it is conveniently located for skiing/boarding. The quality of the buffet and...

Time for another renovation, dear Equinox Resort. It's a shame to see this grandeur hotel start to show it's age, as the rooms appear tired, and in need of a rescue... the townhouses need renovating and painting inside and out! We stayed this winter in the townhouses (SO incredibly disappointing, our first time staying there), as the walls were paper...

For many years, our family has chosen this resort for our annual ski retreat. The location is perfectly situated with mountain views and a short drive (or complimentary shuttle!) to wonderful outlet shopping, restaurants, galleries, etc. This resort truly offers something for everyone. Our grandchildren enjoyed the indoor pool, adults indulged themselves with spa treatments and we all enjoyed delicious...

What a wonderful staff, especially Sharon Green and Maxine Thompson in the restaurant. Great and friendly service! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort. The spa was also a nice experience.

This is a charming hotel that is much larger than appears. We had a wonderful corner room on a higher floor with views of the mountains. Our room was large and updated with very comfortable beds. Service was good. Food: while the breakfast was very good (we ordered from the menu rather than the buffet) the food for lunch and...

Spent Easter weekend with wife and 4-year old. Basic room is large and nicely appointed. Note that hotel restaurant and bar shut down early but there are a lot of other options as the hotel is conveniently centrally located and within a short drive or walking distance of shopping, restaurants and other shops. The hotel is located about a 20-30...

To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I can't believe they claim to be a luxury resort. The room was dated and dirty. Only used the spa to take a fitness class which ended up being a rip off as well. Then to boot I get home to find out I was charged a fee for "cigarette butts"...
