Picked this one based on reviews, but it was so much BETTER than the reviews. Aside from our basic specs of queen bed, private bath, and large common rooms, Lee and Bob were wonderful hosts, breakfasts abundant with their own butter, ham, etc. Plus Golden Retriever puppies, piglets, cows...it was wonderful, full of life. I'd absolutely recommend it.

We visited Lee and Bob in August with our two girls (ages 8 and 12). We could not have been happier. We stayed in the little house, which had a bedroom, separate living room with a pullout couch, picnic table area, private bath and washer/dryer. We had everything we needed for a wonderfully relaxing stay. The hit of the whole... More

We had just one night at the Hollister Hill B&B. I would have loved more. The room was large and comfortable (and we had a teenager with us). The grounds were lovely - I could have spent far more time admiring the gardens and visiting with the animals. Breakfast was delicious, and only topped by the wonderful conversation shared between... Bob & Lee are great hosts and particularly enjoyable breakfast company. The rooms were spacious, spotless and included great touches like a a fireplace set up with kindling so that you were one match away from a satisfying in-room fire. Breakfast was over the top with most of the ingredients their own-- milk, eggs, ham, maple syrup all from Hollister... More

Located on a beautiful Vermont hill farm, with dairy, chickens, ducks, pigs, and maple sugaring. Lots for kids and adults to see and do. Walks on the road and in the nearby town forest are inviting and invigorating for the heart and soul. Comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms. Great, friendly hosts who know the area and Vermont and can provide... More

We highly recommend a stay at Hollister Hill Farms! We arrived in late afternoon and were greeted by innkeeper Lee and their dogs, Bella and Lucy, as a light snow was beginning to fall. Lee gave us info for settling in. Later we met Bob, who greeted us with a wonderful "Welcome to Vermont!" The property itself is beautiful and... More

My boyfriend and I spent two night at Hollister Hill and I wish we were still there. Bob and Lee are excellent hosts, offering recommendations of places to eat and hike in the area. Lee's breakfast was delicious - apple griddle cakes (with apples from their garden) one morning and a frittata the next (with fresh veggies from the garden... More

Once again, our visit (quick this time) to Hollister Hill Farm proved to be a highlight - we just "stopped by" to say hello and intro Teri's husband to the B&B, and purchase some excellent provisions. Lee and Bob could not have been more welcoming, even though this is one of their busy seasons. They even were quite courteous about... More
