This place had seen better days, the heyday of ski lodges dating back decades ago, and this place hasn't seen a nickel of improvement dollars ... not that my bill (with taxes) of $88 would suggest (they charged $15 for my dog). Everything was drab, completely unimproved, perhaps explaining why one party dumped the other's Econolodge brand (probably the brand... More

This was an excellent place to stay for a holiday ski trip to Killington Ski Resort. I loved the cozy, rustic feel of the hotel- big fireplaces, lounging areas, and a nice recreation room with plenty of activities for when you're not on the slopes. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff was very helpful. We enjoyed... More

Our family had a great time @ Budget host, We lounged by the pool which was very relaxing and enjoyed the quiet wooded area, We also enjoyed the setting area on the 2nd floor. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Wow this place was already really good before but now they've changes their name to Budget Host Killington. Except for the name, it sure doesn't feel like a discount or chain hotel. We have been here in - summer (great pool and hikes and concerts and picnics), - winter (AMAZING skiing right there! Plus its hard not to feel cozy/romantic... More

I stayed here over Labor Day weekend with my family on our way to Maine and it was great. Very good service, affordable rates, and the old ski decor is awesome. Really good place for some real VT R&R. Family friendly- a definite thumbs up!

I've always loved VT in the winter, but we just returned from our first summer trip. The area is just as beautiful green, as it is when it's white. Our accomdations were neat clean and comfortable. Every staff member we met was pleasant and helpful. We will be back soon for our winter ski trip, and it's likely this summer... More

This hotel looks like it used to be awesome 20 years ago. Some cool looking old ski decor on the walls here and there. A library upstairs. Looks like the remains of what used to be a fun lounge with fireplace and game room. Sadly that appears to all be in the past. I will say, the bed was comfy... More

This hotel is showing its age, especially if you get a look at the attached structure in the back of the building, which seems badly neglected. The room itself was clean enough for me. Wi-fi worked perfectly. TV info sheet listed 25 channels, including several premium channels, but we only got 10 or so, none of them premium. Breakfast wasn't... More

I had a very positive experience and plan to return next ski season. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The free breakfast was an extra bonus! My grand daughter really loved the place and didn't want to leave! A great deal for the money, and conveniently located near Pico and Killington ski resorts.

Worst experience ever. Dirty room, stayed 4 nites they never vacuumed the floors. Terrible smell In rooms. Stayed on first floor locks broken on window. Door looked like it had pushed in many times , did not feel safe. Breakfast was donuts and bagels . Date on donut box showed they had expired on the 14th. We were there on... More
