Just completed our 3rd stay at the Inn. Very convenient to downtown, restaurants, and the Capital building. Comfortable, quiet rooms, and a nice continental+ breakfast featuring homemade backed goods, fresh cut fruit, yogurt, etc. Highly recommend.

Stayed at the Inn at Montpelier this past Tuesday evening. At $270 per night it was grossly overpriced for the market, and the season. Note there is no bar and no evening food offerings, but close to downtown for those options. My "king bed" was two singles pushed together with a huge gap in the middle. Breakfast consisted of dried...

The service was nice and the breakfast very pleasant, as it was the veranda but the hotel is in need of refreshing, the carpets are old and the walls need painting, the bathroom was small with a tiny closet inside of the bathroom.

The Inn a Montplier was just excellent. The Inn was beautifully restored with antiques and oriental rugs galore. A continental breakfast was served on a large porch with flowers galore. The breakfast was great with a choice of jams, rolls, certeals, and fruit. The host was great and very attentive to our needs. We were there for a Norwich reunion....

Great location as we could walk around from here without having to drive. The room was noticeably outdated, and the door would slam if not mindful. It was humid and the A/C did not work very well. Made for a warm sticky night. Bed was not very comfortable. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. All in all, I'd...

Spent a couple of nights in this charming Inn. Located in the heart of the village so nice little walk to the local restaurants, shops etc. Was enchanted by the decor, peacefulness, great big porch to swing/sit and relax - even have breakfast. Will definitely come again.

I think maybe this is a place best suited to business trips and older travelers. The location is great because you can easily walk to all of the shops, restaurants, and attractions. However, we found the staff to be aloof and a little confrontational. The man who checked us in seemed to be reciting a script instead of speaking to...

Anniversary trip. Charming. Historic. Well kept. Inviting and comfortable rooms and common areas. Friendly but not hovering staff. Easy walk to downtown. Sit on the porch and relax into a Vermont summer evening.

I've stayed at the Inn multiple times and each time it's like "coming home"... staff and Inn keepers are always attentive to your needs and breakfast is a treat. Can't beat the location, rooms are always clean and bright...stay and you'll come back!
