Visiting family locally and they recommended. Family feel, warm, slept well. Proprietors were welcoming and knowledgable. If rustic and homey is what you like then this is the place. Felt at home!, clean all around. Bedroom too!

Great place to stay. Wonderful views great family run business very friendly, clean rooms and beautiful gardens. The owner and his family make you feel right at home. You can go kayaking or swimming in the summer. Try it out.

Some friends and I came to Seymour Lake Lodge for a girlfriends weekend and just had a great time! The owners are so charming and friendly, the rooms were lovely and clean. The community kitchen was great to cook in and had everything we need to cook dinner. We canoed and kayaked and sat outside on the swings while having...

My husband, daughter and I have been staying at Seymour Lake Lodge since 2003 and often visit several times a year. We live in a beautiful part of Vermont ourselves (Bristol, VT), but what draws us to Seymour Lake Lodge are the beautiful lake and the Lodge's hosts, Brian and Joan DuMoulin, who quickly became our personal friends. The lodge...

We have been staying at Seymour Lake Lodge since our Grandaughter was a baby & she is now 12 years old. The view of the lake is wonderful, Brian & Joan could not be better hosts. We always book Room 9 because we take our two collies (Russell & Joey) with us and sometimes our daighter & grandaughter. We love...

I love this place! I've visited two years in a row for a bike event in the Northeast Kingdom. It's comfortable and quiet, and Joan and Brian are so hospitable and warm, I felt right at home. The rooms are basic and furnished with older furniture but very clean and with plenty of bedding; there's a lovely footed tub in...

We planned and saved for an East Coast trip for 3 years. We live in California and wanted our children to see that part of our country. We had our itinerary all set to visit all the historical sights we could. Upon talking to my dad about the trip he said you have to go up to the Lodge in...

Second year there in May. Stayed in the same 2 room rental. This is very convenient for those fishing Seymour Lake as we were. Brian would always ask if we needed anything, lodge is very rustic with charm. If you're looking for that 5 Star hotel that pampers you then you need to be somewhere else. If you want to...

The Seymour Lake Lodge, where I have visited many times, feels like my home-away-from-home. It is not pretentious. It is old-fashioned and full of antiques...which is wonderful for us who love nostalgia. The big old porch is a wonderful place to sit on the swing or rockers and watch the clouds play with the peak of Mt. Elan, and listen...

Room was dirty had spiders and cobwebs all over the place and it reeked of gas. The bathroom was terrible. The toilet was crooked and the floor creaked and the shower had live and dead spiders in it. I have stayed at hunting camps that were cleaner than this. There was a chest with musty smell that had extra blankets...

This guest arrived to our Lodge for a class reunion. She had booked room 6, a lodge room on the second floor. When she arrived she was in distress as she could not climb stairs and was handicapped and in much pain with stinosus. She insisted we give her a room on the first floor. Our 2 room suite was...
