I brought my boyfriend here for our anniversary and it was so lovely! The property is gorgeous and nice for taking a stroll. The entire house is absolutely gorgeous, from the library, to the dining room, to the whole rest of the house and it's rooms. It's very quaint and quiet

Property's Favourite Review
This property has so much more character and charm than the typical hotel. And Sallie, as the owner and steward, couldn’t be sweeter nor better informed on things to do in the area. The grounds are beautiful, and breakfast delectable. And there’s a lovely three mile loop for

We just got home from a few days in Vermont and our 3-day stay at the Antique Mansion in Rutland, Vermont. We made some wonderful memories on this trip from New Jersey -- perhaps the most pleasant memory was our stay at the Antique Mansion run by owner and innkeeper Sallie Gill.

It was so nice to have you here, Kirk, and no problem to adjust the menus for allergies, especially once I have the information in advance. I enjoyed getting to know you and your wife, given your several night stay, and it is gratifying for me when guests are interested in the architecture and the history of the mansion. So glad to know you found the bed comfortable, slept well and enjoyed some peace and quiet while still being close to downtown and walkable to Baxter's restaurant. I certainly hope to see you both again!!

Staying at the Antique Mansion was a pure delight! There were three of us, so we had a "wing" of two rooms and a shared bathroom. Everything was perfect and I slept so well! Sallie's French toast was delicious and all the Vermont Maple Syrup you could ask for topped it off

We intentionally do not say pet friendly even though I love animals. Out of consideration for other guests and some heirloom oriental rugs, it is not a wise idea. I do have 2 cats and go to great lengths to keep them out of the guest areas.
