If you are looking for a large faceless chain hotel with no heart where every room is identical and no one remembers your name then this charming b and b is possibly not for you. However, if you are seeking charm and individuality look no further. The setting is stunning ,surrounded by wood and mountain views. The attentive host works... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The B & B has lovely rooms with newly refurbished bathrooms and most welcoming hosts, Tony & Frances. We arrived there about 6pm following a long drive and needed somewhere to eat. Tony was really helpful & suggested a couple of places and we found the village diner in Bethel up the road open. The... After reconnecting with a former classmate on FB, I discovered he owned this lovely inn. We booked a weekend tour that included 2 nights. Tony and his 91 year old mom, Frances, couldn't have been more welcoming. The accommodations were very comfortable with all amenities and the rooms were spotless. And, oh, the views, especially from the huge veranda. There... More

VERY quaint accommodations with lots of character. Tony and his mother Francis are great hosts who made us feel welcome and comfortable. Really enjoyed socializing with other guests at breakfast and in the evening.

Highly recommend this B&B - warm & friendly folks; room nice and comfortable - lovely antiques throughout the home. Scenery real nice tucked away off the beaten path. Suggest to not rely on gps to find this hidden treasure as it was difficult, especially at night, but once we googled on phone then we were right on target.

A great place in a very rural location, best welcome anywhere, with Tony and his mother Frances running the place together beautifully. Brilliant breakfast, amazing comfy bed and best Wifi we've had in US. We'll never forget our stay here as we stayed with really lovely people, in an authentic old Vermont Inn. House has very modern bathrooms and is... More

My 8-year old twins and I stayed here for nearly a week in mid-summer. It was completely delightful. We stayed in the Green Mountain Room which has a fully renovated bath attached to the bedroom. I loved the absence of a TV in the room and limited cell service (which seems to be the norm in VT) and my children... More

I have stayed here twice now, over two Labor Day weekends, and expect to be back again. From the moment you walk through the door, Tony and his mom Francis make you feel like one of the family. The rooms are well appointed, with period furniture and comfortable beds. For breakfast at The Cobble House there is no such thing... More

Our stay at Cobble House was short and sweet! Francis, Tony's mom met us at the door of the beautiful old house. She got us settled in to our gorgeous Victorian Room, that was tastefully decorated with lovely antiques, including an impressive bed. The bathroom even had a clawfoot tub outfitted with a period appropriate shower system. Everything was clean... More
