My husband and I visited the Hermitage Inn in July 2011. We were in the room named Coldbrook in the Wine Wing. The room was exceptionally attractive, and very nicely decorated. We ate in the dining room, and this was a pleasant experience, but very pricey. We did not give that a second try. At the check in desk we...

We had a wedding and our bridal party stayed at all the rooms. First the rooms are gorgeous with sumptuous beds, woodsy vermont style decorations. The grounds are gorgeous with paths and flowers. The ponds, jacuzzi and common spaces are just what you are looking for. The real thrill is the STAFF, everyone is friendly and helpful and the FOOD...

We stayed here for 2 nights to start off our Honeymoon and, despite a rocky start, we were overall happy with our stay and would recommend as an upscale beautiful inn. We stayed in the Bridgeview room in the Carriage House and were the only ones staying in the house, which meant we had a full kitchen, dining room, and...

The Hermitage Inn is a wonderful B&B. They were very accomodating when I made my reservation and welcoming when we arrived. Our room (Willows) was totally charming and clean ....it exceeded our expectations. The grounds are beautiful with many flowers and a pond. There is also a hot tub, sauna, and exercise room which we didn't get a chance to...

The restaurant was great, both meals we ate in the Pub, we dined for dinner and breakfast. The ribeye was cooked perfect, The salmon was great. Breakfast was enjoyable, everything was so...

Stayed here two nights and had a wonderful time. Room - we were in Pheasant in the main house and though the inn was fully booked, we never heard anyone else nor did we run into anyone on the hallway. Room was nicely sized with a generous closet. No drawer space for folded clothes (like T shirts) and the bed...

My girlfriend and I took advantage of a groupon offer. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our time. There were hiking trails, but unfortunately it was rainy the few days prior and they were slippery. We took a few short drives to the neighboring towns and picked up some candles, maple syrup and cheese. They have a nice restaurant, which...

We took a little 2 night get-away to the Hermitage in July for some peace and quiet and looking for some cool breezes. What a wonderful little property we found! More than an old fashioned inn or a bed and breakfast. This was New England charm meets modern sophistication. Hot tubs and saunas with great views of nature (& a...
