Mountaineer is the best of what you dream of in a Vermont ski lodge.... comfortable and modern common areas where guests gather to share the events of the day, snacks and beverages, excellent meals....always a big hot breakfast that is tailored to your personal preferences. Ned and Royal make folks feel like guests have come home for the holidays. Close...

The location is good and the inn keeper is friendly. However the room are musty- small- and the sheets were so scratchy that it was like a body loofa every time I moved. Not too comfortable. The communal space is great and the innkeeper cooks a great breakfast. The huge hot tub is a plus.

We stayed here as a group of 6 (in 3 rooms) for the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge. It was a perfect location for our group. The common areas are large and comfortable with big screen TV's and a common fridge to store beverages. The inn does not have a liquor license, but they allow you to bring your own beer...

This Inn is owned by an older couple that take much pride in their business. The building and grounds are well kept. They have a large pool, patio area and deck. The included breakfast was a nice treat. The only downside is that they do not have air conditioning in the rooms.

We had the opportunity to ski Mt. Snow for two days in March. The Mountaineer Inn was recommended by friends and we were very pleased we stayed there. It has the atmosphere of an old fashioned ski lodge where you can mix and mingle with the other skiers. The owners go out of their way to make sure all guests feel...

If you are planning a ski trip to Mount Snow you cannot choose better location, at the very base of the slopes. However, do not expect 5 star hotel. Our room was very small and with outdated furniture. But it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The price of the room included breakfast, which was really good. The Inn...

I've been coming here for over 25 years, it's like going home. The food is great Ned and Royal are great, we come with the Delaware ski club. When we are there were treated just like family, I recommend all big or small groups to go. If you're expecting a five star hotel this is not the place for you....

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and made great recommendations for food and area hangouts. We checked in very late and the staff made it convenient for us . The walls were thin and room we had was small, but clean and comfortable. We were there to ski and the room was a perfect place to crash at the...

This is a nice inn with rustic Vermont charm. The breakfast, which is free with the room was great. The outdoor hot tub was large and very relaxing but only available until 6:30pm. The downside is that the room was tiny with barely enough room to walk around. The room was decorated with old pieces. Mattress very uncomfortable. In a...

If only I could give a zero, I would. I cannot believe that this is actually an Inn. The room we are in us subterranean and has barely enough room to turn around yet it was billed as "room for four". The front desk staff is rude and pretentious and when issues are raised, they shrug and say oh well....
