I advised the owner that the room smelled musty and moldy and suggested perhaps it was because of what appeared to be a large water stain in the cornor of the ceiling which continued down the wall. His response was that he had never had any other complaints and that I should carry Fabreeze air freshner with me. He stated...

If you need Hilton style amenities & decor, this place is not for you. We were hesitant at first as to what to expect for "vintage" however we were very pleased to have a clean room, comfy bed and the owner was very nice. The decor was eclectic, but when you spend most of time in the room with your...

We rented this room for our boys who were in a wedding in the area. Given the fact that there were no chain hotels in the area, we didn't have a clue about what we would get. Turns out, all went well. The motel did not oversell itself. It was clean and the accommodations were sufficient. The boys didn't stay...

Googled the Wlmington area early on the day we reserved to see if we could find a place closer than we had planned near Boston. Process was easy enough, prices seemed fair and got a quick response from owner ensuring me that there was a room that would be ready for our late check in. Upon arrival, the owner was...

I was pleasantly surprised when I stayed at the Vintage Motel. We were greeted by the owner who was very nice and you could tell that he takes pride in his motel and wants to make your experience as good as possible. You should not expect a modern and updated facility. It is vintage just like its name, but that...

My room was comfortable. I liked the decor of this motel with its figurines and European artwork. The dining room is nicely sized and offers a full continental breakfast. The owner and staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Great quiet location only a mile from downtown Wilmington.

The owner is very nice, but this place was such a disappointment. The pictures make it look much nicer than it really is. Everything is dated at this place. We had a room on the road side, which turned out to be a little noisy. Breakfast isn't all that great, and unfortunately the breakfast space is very cramped, yet at...

We had a great two night stay at this very understated motel on rt. 9 just before Wilmington. The owner is a lovely man who was extremely gracious in helping us and serving as host. The rooms were clean and the property immaculate. Don't hesitate to stay here and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as well as extremely comfortable beds.

Just stayed for one night. Reception was friendly, the room looks a little cluttered but offers a fridge and micro-wave. Bed was good too. Breakfast was an experience ! The person was trying to make coffee, boil water and toast bagels on the same outlet and was getting annoyed the current switched off. Strange... We hurried up breakfast without toasting...
