Never been to BridgewaterI had never been to Bridgewater before I stayed at this motel. Had a one-day trip for some personal business and booked at the Crimson. When I arrived at this motel in this lovely little town, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these recently renovated rooms were set up. Upscale kitchen, nice appliances, comfortable atmosphere, large...

We love staying at the Crimson Inn while visiting our daughter at Bridgewater College! The Crimson is very convenient and economical. The staff is very friendly and they always treat BC families so well! It's great having the kitchenette as well as several useful kitchen supplies! The rooms are always clean and the beds are comfy! We will always try...

Our stay was 5 days over the Thankgiving holiday, a time with few guests at the Inn. The room was clean and the staff friendly and attentive to our needs. I thought the room was a great value and plan to stay there on future visits.

I'm not sure why there were negative reviews, but our room was spotless, the comforters were clean and so were the sheets. Considering that it was the start of the college semester, all was quiet, and the hotel staff very friendly. Oh, I bet I wasn't the only one that had to call the after hours number to get my...

We recently spent 3 days at the Crimson Inn while spending time with out daughter at Bridgewater College. We stayed here last year and had a great time. I was concerned this year after reading the latest reviews, but after speaking with Melanie at the front desk we decideId to try it again. She told us that during a short...

This hotel is very comfy and cozy nestled right in the heart of Bridgewater. They offer a very nice place to stay that includes a kitchette for those who may want a home style feeling. The only problem is the hotel staff doesn't clean the rooms daily so you may have to request necessary items such as toilet tissue. Late...

Every year we travel to this area for a family reunion. Last year, we thought we'd found a diamond-in-the-rough at Crimson Inn. One year later, it was just "rough." The first room we were given was gross. The sheets looked slept in and on the comforters there were small bloodstains and food stains (I think) that looked like macaroni and...

This place was kind of sketchy. There are door codes and who knows how often they are changed. We showed up and the room we were given had not been cleaned yet. We were quickly given another room but still had me wondering.

My top criteria for hotels, as we travel around during retirement, has been: budget price if possible; super clean; all necessities supplied (our needs are simple); all facilities function and none are broken; rapid hot water on tap; and relative quiet. This modest little gem in an out-of-the-way small town in the Shenandoah Valley is a great place to base...

You have to know that this place exists, or find it by accident - and then - you cannot believe the value, the convenience, and the simplicity of the place. I hear this was a major renovation of a run-down property about three years ago - so the locals have no clue, and certainly would not recommend it based upon...
