We stayed at the Bridgewater Cottage & Inn this past weekend (Jan 4-6, 2013). A delightful place and decorated with character and very comfortable. The room was larger than any other B&B we have stayed in. Mary always greeted us with a smile and breakfast was delicious. She was gracious in providing directions and recommendations on things to do in... More

Stayed at this nice, very comfortable place in late October for a birthday gift weekend for gf. My expectations were exceeded by the bfast and size/privacy of the spot. I originally was attracted to some Living Social "deals," with wine and cheese and whatnot, at other INNs in the general Shenandoah region and other parts of VA. However, this place's... More

What a special place. It was like staying in our own private retreat. The accommodations had lots of character and personal touches. It was nice to have a sitting room and kitchen in addition to the bedroom. It is a great central location for Shenandoah Valley adventures. Bridgewater is a quaint college town. Dining possibilities were within walking distance. Your... More

We stayed in the cottage - it was super nice, very private, and with its own hot tub and everything else that you could ask for! Mary's signature breakfasts are fantastic, and we had a great time overall. The room was very clean and spacious, and the area is quiet. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a pleasant romantic getaway... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend and really had a good time. The cottage is relatively close by the hike we went on in Shenandoah national park, and offers all the amenities you could hope for. There is a winery about 5 minutes away, so that's where you need to go if you want a bottle of wine. Mary is... More
