Staying in this home is like staying in Monticello, except instead of roped-off sections and signs telling you not to touch anything, you sleep in the beds! The proprietor is very gracious, and after our stay she sent my wife her recipe for the quiche she served at breakfast.

My husband and I stayed at the Maysville Manor while attending a local wedding. We were pleased with our room and the overall experience at the Maysville B and B. There is a shared bath but that was not a problem and the charm of the hostess plus a delicious breakfast was such a plus for us over the sterile...

I stayed at the Maysville Manor for three nights, in the private cottage that is separate from the rest of the big house. It has one larger bedroom and one small bedroom with a single shared bathroom. Downstairs is a sitting room and kitchen. The bedrooms were okay with beautiful antiques and acceptable bedding. The bathroom was very clean, though...

We arrived, and were surprised that the home did not meet up to the standards of the picture. In the main house the bathroom took several flights of stairs and was shared by 8 people, broken out into 4 rooms. There was however a bath on the main level, but a bit of a hike down some crazy, rickety stairs....

I have been staying at Maysville for many years when I visit Yogaville nearby. Nancy is so sweet and makes sure you are comfortable and at feel right at home. She provides breakfast treats and makes sure to provide creamer for coffee. For me, Maysville is a treasure and I intend to keep going back to with family and friends....

I have been to Maysville Manor several times for community functions. Maysville Manor is an old and lovely place. It has seven large bedrooms, 1 cottage behind it, nice porch with rocking chairs for morning or evening sitting, continental breakfast served, individual breakfast served if requested. The rooms are decorated very elegantly Maysville Manor is open everyday of the year....

There aren't many choices in Buckingham, but this was a great little find. Very clean and absolutely beautiful rooms. It was like staying in Thomas Jefferson's home but with all the modern conveniences. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Nancy met us to give us the keys and we could come and go as we chose....

Maysville Manor provides its guests elegant surroundings in a beautiful setting. The house is spacious, well-maintained and elegantly decorated. The rooms are large and the beds are more than comfortable. Guests are treated to cool breezes that may be enjoyed from the comfort of a rocking chair on the front porch. With its reasonable proximity to the city, the beauty...

Tastefully done interior, spacious grounds to roam. Convenient to Richmond, Lynchburg, Charlottesville. Located in the heart of our country's history. You won't be disappointed by this gem of a bed and a breakfast or the proprietor's hospitality. Came here last minute for a mini personal retreat and my expectations were exceeded. I left refreshed, rejuvenated, and well equipped, rather unexpectedly,...

“Any room here is good. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful get away, this is for you. If you are looking for something separate Maysville Manor has a cottage out back for guest also.”
MissBizzi, 3 Aug 2014 | Read review
“I stayed in the guest cottage in the back for the ultimate in privacy, but toured the house. It would be difficult to chose a room as they are all well appointed. The guest cottage does not have a tub though, standing shower.”
