Stayed for one week mid May 2017 for our granddaughter's wedding at Oyster Bay which was nearby. The staff from management to grounds/maintenance were fabulous, eager to please. In 51 years of camping there have only been a few that have impressed us like this. We told 3 other families where we were going & they joined us. They too,...

Love this place. Never a dull moment. From fishing to crabbing, swimming and putt putt golf. Great atmosphere. Safe and friendly. Food lion nearby. Cape Charles beach 5 minutes away. We've stayed in cabins and camper. Never disappointed 😄

Oh this campground...a visitor is $15 in the summer and $12 in the off season, except when you show up at 8 PM in the chilly, rainy, then it's $40 don't worry they will not tell you before showing up, but three stooges at the Ranger station will tell you. Please refrain from big words because the three of them...

It was a very nice campground. Very big. Clean. Nice bath houses. Free WiFi. Pros: the site was right next to the bay, not many campers in late April during the week, 5 minute ride to nearest grocery store. Cons:off season the store, cafe, and bait shops are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, Cafe doesn't open when the sign says...

We spent two days at Cherrystone in a camper on a waterview lot during spring break. My family and I enjoyed it immensely. The weather was just right and the staff was couteous. The amenities were plentiful and in good condition. Various activity stations were spread throughout the park. There was plenty of fishing/crabbing spots and water access for any...

I stayed one night here with my family. You cannot reserve less than 2 night online, so I had to call in. They said there were plenty of available sites, just come and take one. They said the water at the sites was not working so the price was $22 per night, I was fine with that. I arrived after...

We stayed at #613, which is waterfront. Such a view. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and really enjoyed our stay. I would rate our stay as 4 stars but....that is conditional on the time of year we stayed. I expect it would be 3 stars during the summer. The views from campsites facing the water are tremendous. We visited...
