My family has been coming to Cherrystone since the 80's. There have been some really nice changes like the added pool, splash zone, balloon wars, baby pool, piers were replaced, farm shack, no more mosquito sprays at night....(thank god, it smelled like stinky armpits)....Some things that changed that are a real bummer is the nature walk is closed, can't use...

After my trip to Cherrystone last year, I promised I would write a follow up review of my vacation.. I did have to wait 3 months in order to re write my review.. here I am a little over a year later. I had a fabulous time, it is a family resort so there isn't TOO much for just adults...

We took our "new" used pop up camper for it's maiden voyage to Cherrystone. We weren't disappointed at all - well, except for the excessive heat - but we were well entertained. With five swimming pools at our disposal, paddle boats, fishing, crabbing, jump pads, activities and more. Our campsite was about 50 yards from the Chesapeake Bay in a...

We had a large camp site with a great view of the sandy beach and bay.The campground was nearly full and it was full of life. Lots of children and adult activities, and even themed weekends. Boating, fishing, crabbing, biking, swimming, live music, live dancers just too many things to list. No time for boredum here! The general store was...

My 3rd time here in the last 2 years we usually come for Memorial Day weekend and so far I haven't run into any issues during my stays, my 8 and 6 year old have a blast here. I stay in a 23ft travel trailer and have not used the cabins, rental trailers or bath houses; the sites I have...

We went to look at a motorhome a couple was planning to sell (they were set up in the park). They charged us $21 to drive in for a half hour! An older couple behind us that wanted to tour the place to see it was charged as well. Apparently some people come to visit but end up staying, but...

We always look forward to our annual camping at Cherrystone. Father's Day weekend this year was a celebration with a group of countless friends, camping in about 8 sites back to back. Everyone enjoys camping here every year; the only reason I would rate it 4.5 is b/c of the bathroom. Some of the showers are not working right! One...

This was our 14th year staying at Cherrystone and I have never thought to review it or even read reviews on it. So here is 14 years of experience.. We stayed in an air-conditioned cabin 14 years ago and it was nice. We then purchased an air-conditioned pop-up that we had on several sites throughout the years. Our favorite site...

Just back from a week at Cherrystone & loved it! The campground was very clean & staff was always friendly. We stayed in our own RV on a WES site. Electric worked great which was needed this week as it was HOT HOT HOT! (AC ran all week!) There were activities all week long, but our group (kids & adults)...
