My boyfriend and I were looking for a romantic getaway prior to his upcoming deployment, and figured Charlottesville would be a nice escape. The rooms at the Inn are beautiful and the location itself is very convenient; however, our stay was less than desireable. The staff left much to be desired in the "friendly" department, and the rooms do not...

This historic B&B is across from the historic court house lawn. Candace and her staff are very welcoming and accommodating. I had the small room across from the dining area, where I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each day. The inn is within walking distance to the outdoor mall area which has many stores, stands and restaurants and the Saturday morning...

We were so happy we stayed at this Inn. I love the historic aspect of the place. It was beautifully restored. As I recall, it was built in the 1700s and is one of the oldest buildings in town. The place is sumptuously decorated. (I personally would have preferred design exclusively from the 1700s, but it's hard to argue with...

We recently took a trip to Charlottesville to see Monticello. We wanted to stay somewhere historic that wouldn't break the bank. The Inn at Court Square fit the bill perfectly. It is the oldest existing house in the downtown area, within walking distance to the pedestrian mall (lots of cute shops and restaurants, a farmers market and theaters). Candace (owner),...

Such a great experience! Sandy was so welcoming and helpful, he went above and beyond. The Inn was walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shops. Overall could not be happier with our choice to stay here.

Our decision to stay at the Inn at Court Square was definitely one of our better ones. The staff (especially Sandy (sp?)) were excited to provide suggestions as to where we should eat/drink/shop and the quiches in the morning were a delicious treat! When's the last time you had a homemade quiche? So between the food, staff, location (walkable to...

My husband and I recently stayed in an adjoining suite with two friends and were all very pleased with the accommodations and service. Sandy is fantastic! He made us feel right at home upon arrival, made sure we had everything we needed, and even showed us how to get to the football game shuttle. The location is great - central...

What a delightful B&B. The decor is exquisite and the staff are charming. Our room was elegant and comfortable. All of this you will no doubt read in the other reviews. Here's the thing though, the food is amazing! We had dinner on the night we arrived. Our hostess gave us a complimentary small appetizer of stuffed mushroom served with...

If you have been to Charlottesville (and if you haven't, beat a path there, fast), you're aware that while you'll want a car, you'll also want a room near the historic main street "pedestrian mall" to explore restaurants and shops on foot with ease and convenience. The Inn at Court Square, one block away, is a B&B that cannot be...

My 12 year old daughter and I decided to stay here while we were in Charlottesville for a squash tournament at UVA. We had a 9-10 hour drive from Ohio, and we arrived at about 7:45pm. Sandy was there to meet us and he was so friendly and welcoming. We were made to feel so welcome from the second we...
