This is the worst hotel, by far, that I have ever been. Dirty, noisy and the staff were rude and not helpful at all. There are plenty of hotels in the area, do not stay in this one. There were parties going on from 12.00 AM until 3.00 AM, students screaming, and doing God knows what! Dancing and drinking most...

Stayed here with my daughter to attend a concert nearby. Looked like a lot of the other guests were there for the same reason. The room was big and clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast wasn't anything fancy but it was good. I was a little worried after reading some of the other reviews but now I wonder if...

We stayed here while my daughter toured UVA. The location is perfect for touring the school. Nothing fancy, but our room had been updated and was very clean. Room included coffee maker, microwave, mini-refrigerator, too. Free WI-FI and parking. Welcoming and breakfast included. It met all our needs for our quick trip.

My daughter, son-in-law, and I stayed at this hotel overnight to avoid traveling in a winter storm. What attracted us to the hotel was the reasonable cost on short notice and the location. The room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave which made it possible to store our leftovers from dinner. The hotel did allow us to have...

I stayed here because of proximity to UVA, since it is literally across the street. It would have been worth the drive to stay somewhere else. The front desk staff was great. Friendly and helpful. But things got bad as soon as I stepped of the elevator. The picture on the wall had fallen off, and was broken all over...

I use to like staying in this hotel...but the quality and service has continually gone down. Not only did they charge me as soon as I checked in (which they never did before in the past, I have always paid at checkout with all of my previous visits) but I got charged all sorts of random charges on my card...

Was setup here after moving to Charlottesville and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I stayed in one of the king bed suites which was more than enough room to spread out. The location is prime and close to downtown and JPJ. Rooms were clean and free breakfast was a plus.

I've stayed at many hotels in Charlottesville. If you want to stay close to the university, be able to walk downtown and pay a reasonable price, this is the place. The rooms are not luxurious but they clean and decent. The breakfast is alright (eggs, cereal, bagels) but the main floor is very nice looking and the price can't be...

We stayed only one night at the Cavalier Inn. Every was clean and neat, the staff responded quickly to any request. Shortly after we left we had phone from the Inn stating that we had left a Kindle in the room and that they would return it to us. We sent a prepaid label the next day and the Kindle...

We stayed three nights at the cavalier inn and had three rooms. The rooms were clean and modern. The guy who checked my mom and I in was very nice and quick and was able to book us rooms last minute and accommodate. He also was really nice to my son. Housekeeping was great and made up our rooms and...
