We stayed here for a weekend while we were in Charlottesville celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was a good location, walking distance to the pedestrian mall area with lots of shops and restaurants. We stayed in the Katelyn suite, which was very spacious. The bathroom was very nice - double sinks, lots of counter space, nice clean shower stall, and...

Very well maintained bed and breakfast. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The location is on the edge of town. I could easily walk to the downtown area for dinner. Parking is in the back. Easy access to your vehicle. Good value.

We recently stayed at the Leathers Snyder Bed and Breakfast after deciding to make a very last minute mini-getaway trip to Charlottesville. We were pleasantly surprised by their availability and prices, especially compared to other B&Bs in the area. Susan and Jeff were absolutely wonderful, inviting and warm. Their home was an absolute masterpiece, Jeff and Susan have completely renovated...

Jeff and Susan are wonderful hosts--they know the city, and this really did feel 'right at home.' Great location, close to everything--downtown, UVA, and an easy drive to wineries, Monticello--we just loved staying here. I can't remember when I've had such a positive B&B experience.

Leathers Snyder Bed & Breakfast proved an enchantingly beautiful venue for our wedding rehearsal dinner party! Susan and Jeff Lanterman, the warm and charming proprietors, graciously opened their home to us. My husband Josh's family had so much fun hosting a lovely, elegant and yet laid-back fete in our honor on the night before our wedding. For the party, Josh's...

Susan and Jeff were the most gracious hosts you could possibly imagine for our stay with the entire extended family on our wedding weekend. With their help, we held a beautiful rehearsal dinner/party in the back yard. Susan's homemade breakfasts were delicious, with fruit, quiche, pound cake and other treats. The house is beautiful, and every room is charming and...

The Leathers-Snyder Inn B&B provided the most comfortable and flexible accommodations I could have imagined. We were there for our son's wedding, and we had a complicated schedule with several family groups all arriving and departing at different times. Susan and Jeff welcomed us in the most open and relaxed way, never even blinking an eye when 4 extra people...

This is the second time we have stayed at Leather Snyder, and it did not disappoint. We usually take the first floor room with the separate back entrance, the atmosphere is quiet, and homey, like staying with friends. The breakfast as wonderful and varied. Choices of toast, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and Susan also makes something special each morning, like homemade...

My husband treated us to a weekend in Charlottesville to celebrate my birthday. Susan and Jeff (innkeepers) were the PERFECT hosts! The Katelyn bedroom and bath were beautifully appointed. The entire house was so relaxing and blissfully QUIET! Susan had homemade cakes, muffins and cookies always on the sideboard of the dining room. Her breakfasts were delicious offerings of homemade...

What a beautifully restored home. The Katelynn room was very spacious and the bathroom was gorgeous with the most incredible antique vanity. Our friends stayed in the Leathers room which was a huge bonus as it comes with an extra sitting room just for that room. Also a back door entrance. The grounds were immaculate and very inviting if it...
