Love to stay at Staybridge. Usually no issues. Sadly the room we had for 1 night was not very clean and I really questioned if sheets were cha ged (just pillow cases appeared fresh). Room 302. The back of bathroom door was disgusting. The bed side stand had sticky stuff all over. Thankfully I carry Clorox wipes. Crumbs on counter (darker spots, we did not eat in room). The heating/cooling unit was in bedroom and very loud when running. Poor shower ptessure woth fluctuating flow. They offer hot breakfast, we did not try.
I chose this hotel because it's relatively new. It is so nice! Our room was huge! Check-in was easy and the front desk staff was friendly. The room offered the usual amenities: microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, tv. There wasn't a proper desk but there was certainly space to sit and work at a laptop. I appreciated the multiple outlets to charge all the electronics. Breakfast was amazing! It was the standard hotel breakfast fare, but the entrees were hot and delicious. They had not just scrambled eggs, but also scrambled eggs with cheese. Not just bacon, but sausage links as well. The front desk guy told us when we checked in that this hotel has a welcome happy hour with drinks and snacks, Mondays - Tuesdays - Wednesdays. Since our daughter and son-in-law (and brand new baby!) live in Charlottesville, we won't hesitate to return to this hotel. Highly recommend.…
We were amazed at this hotel--everything about it was perfect! The studio suite with two queen beds was well-equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast prepared by Nathaniel was delicious and plentiful. Front desk staff was really pleasant and helpful. The lobby with fireplace and den were comfy. There is a pool, laundry and fitness room, and the hotel is pet friendly. We want to come back just to hang out!
The entire facility was maintained to the highest standard. The sheets were so fresh and new! If you find yourself in the part of VA this is an excellent choice. The staff really cared about your stay and offered fix any issues.
You can expect gracious, welcoming and accommodating staff at this hotel, clean rooms and absolutely no noise from the airport. Ample parking, attention to COVID protocols and social distancing and multiple breakfast options add to your comfort. Their patio, business center, laundry, fitness center and pool offer multiple spaces to complete whatever business or leisure activity you need. DO NOT expect other Staybridge Suites locations to meet the same standard. Their quality will vary by location (particularly in the NE). Only reason for four stars instead of five: employees stand in the front door area to smoke. That is not good for people with asthma or allergies.
The front desk clerk called in sick and the breakfast lady had to fill in. The hotel overcharged us and she didn’t have the authority or know how to correct it. She advised me to call the manager. I did, and left a message and have yet to be contacted as of this review.
The gentleman at the front desk when I arrived is a torch-carrier of the nearly dead concept of hospitality. My room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Plenty of hot water, good water pressure, nice kitchenette, reliable internet.
A spacious, well appointed room. Very comfortable bed and space. Very responsive staff and decent breakfast. The managers reception ( taco Tuesday) was very good including a local brewery ipa on draft
Front desk set the tone. Both experiences were outstanding! The young man that helped on arrival was great then I met his mother the next morning and now understand why he is such a good person! She’s a beautiful woman and both have super attitudes and very helpful! Sorry I didn’t write down their names. But they absolutely made the stay extra special! Thanks again and look forward to seeing next time I’m in town! Bernie
We spent four night at this hotel due to a snow storm and not having electricity. The staff and management were outstanding taking care of our every need. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. They have a good selection at breakfast and they have a evening social several nights a week that everyone enjoyed. The hotel was booked the entire time we were there due to so many people not having power and you could tell the staff went above and beyond to meet the needs of the patrons during this emergency situation.
