I have stayed in this hotel twice for extended times (2 weeks each time) to be close to a family member in the hospital. The people who work here are kind, accommodating and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable for an extended stay with everything you need. Anything I have asked for has been given with generosity. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an extended stay in Charlottesville. There is a Whole Foods and Kroger within walking distance as well as a lovely shopping center across the highway with several nice restaurants and great boutique stores! Also has a Trader Joe’s!
This hotel was awesome, The room I had was a 1 bedroom suite , It was Huge. It had 2 TV's a pull out couch. Room had a full Kitchen as well. This was one of the nicest rooms Ive ever stayed at and I am a Hilton Honors Diamond But this hotels biggest gem is FREE Wine and Beer Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (There is also a free light dinner as well). Imagine a great hotel with large rooms and free Liquor, This is where you should stay if you are visiting Charlottesville. You will actually save money staying here because of the free food and Free Liquor The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. This hotel is also need lots of shopping so you can get food and put in the Fridge
Stayed one night but would have stayed for a week. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The fitness center was well stocked and clean and the equipment was in good shape. I really appreciated the quality and menu selection at breakfast and the kitchen staff was first class. Overall a great place to stay!
It’s not a 5-star hotel, but it’s run like one. Rooms are large and well appointed. Central location is easy and convenient. Plus! Dogs are welcome. Great breakfast staff. Would be ideal for business and leisure. Very welcoming and accommodating.
Was very impressed with the staff, especially Tim and Kim that worked in the dining. Very nice and good at what they do. Hope to see them again soon The hotel is very clean and help is just a call away. Had no air once and the lady from maintenance was especially nice, came in no time to help us.
The room was expensive and the quality was low. There was what looked like genital hair in the shower. Dried blood on the walls in the bathroom. Picture frame looked as if it had been burned with a cigarette lighter. Old pens in the floor. Glasses looked like they had been used and put back in the cabinet. The area around the hotel is very run down and a lot of homeless activity. Price does not match the area and condition of the hotel.
Praising the staff for their hospitality! Eric greeted us with a warm welcome and fantastic energy. Tim and his sunshine spreading makes you feel like he is having you to his home for breakfast! He and Doris are a well oil machine with refilling all the delicious breakfast items.
The staff was very nice, the your hotel is in need over overhaul severely. The paint was chipping on the walls, mold in the shower, carpet stained and fraying, and bed sagging. Light bulbs needed to be replaced and the air conditioner made an awful noise - so loud that it woke me up at night. It is unacceptable (and unhygienic) that you only cleaned 3 times during my 11 day stay. I felt like I lived my time in a wet pile of towels. If your new policy is that you do not clean daily, then you need to install a lot more towel racks so that things can dry. On two occasions, I requested cleaning (per your policy) and they didn't even come. You cancelled your evening receptions, which was the only thing that differentiated you from the competition. Please do not say that declining to clean my room has anything to do with COVID. Please do not say that stopping your evening reception has anything to do with COVID - especially when you are serving breakfast in a common space. I was at this hotel years ago and it was much better. It has really declined over time. For $200/night I think it is reasonable to expect better.…
very disappointed with overall serve. The room was dirty stain in the floor. Left almost empty tissue paper left. For two people only one set of towels. Not a pleasant experience. Air-condition vents need to be cleaned .
From the minute I checked in and was greeted by staff at the front desk, I knew this hotel would exceed my expectations. Clean and new, free breakfast, free parking-beautiful outdoor fire pits and seating—large suite rooms with kitchen, living and breakfast room table—comfortable beds. Pool, exercise facility, and washer drawers! All in all, a great hotel!
