If you are looking for an acceptable, inexpensive motel close to the UVA campus, this is the place for you. It is steps away from UVA. The room was small and very dark. It is supposed to be updated but I think all they did was add a new layer of dark paint and new flooring. The furniture was pretty...

The room we had was basic. The owner’s have done a lot of work to bring this motel up-to-date. For that, we applaud them. They would do well to put towel bars in the bathroom…there was no place to hang our towels for reuse.

Very good bedroom which was larger than the normal one offered on rest of my tour across the east USA . The bedroom was quite narrow e.g. couldn’t walk down room if door open. I slept well as offset from the road but there was chaos at 6.45 possibly because of delivery but no one slept through it. Adequate breakfast.

Great stay at this hotel. It was an Excellent value. They have done an impressive job renovating. New bathroom, new carpet, comfortable mattresses, modern look. And they are convenient to UVA and the Historic Downtown. Breakfast did include eggs in addition to waffle maker, cereal, bagels, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juices, coffee, etc. They had a business center but I did...

One of the most affordable hotels in the area where many are $150+ per night. Not far from a large selection of restaurants and the UVA campus. We were in room 24 and it was very quiet even though hotel is near the road. Beds were comfortable and water pressure good.

I stayed here last night and although it’s not fancy, it definitely gets the job done. It’s about a mile from “The Corner” and right on the UVA school grounds so you’re close to it all if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s a motel style and older but modern amenities have been added. The walls are newly painted. The...

A friend became very ill in Charlottesville VA. I drove her daughter there to be with her. Hotels in the area are very over priced especially on UVA campus. This is a small inn located about a mile from the hospital. Simple, clean, no real amenities. But I found service to be very good. The staff was kind, and the...

This hotel has had a recent update. It's still an old school layout with tiny bathrooms, but the decor reminds me of budget hotels in Europe with modern, but no frills design. The beds were comfortable and linens in good condition. The cleaning staff had done a great job. Breakfast was very basic with the ubiquitous Belgian waffle maker. Nobody...

I was in Charlottesville for a night just to visit UVA. The hotel is well located, about 5 minutes walking to The Lawn. The room was big and comfortable with two queen beds. The bathroom was small but clean. The breakfast was very simple but I was not expecting anything great so it was fine. Everything correct for a motel.

Had two nights here, staff were very nice and the manager made us very welcome and let us check in early. Room was a bit small and so was bed but we coped. It was clean and convenient for downtown, probably a mile walk but there's a free shuttle which you can get over the road. It takes you right...
