A warm welcome on arrival and useful tips on where to go and how to get there. Elizabeth looked up a location sand printed directions while we were unpacking the car. A guest pantry area provides refrigerator, microwave, electric hot water kettle, K-cup coffee and lots of tea and coffee choices. Plenty of bottled water and home made cookies every day. We brought our own snacks and pick ups and the Inn's living room, family room and many spacious outdoor sitting areas provided plenty of options to munch, laugh, talk and generally enjoy each other's company. Each day our hostess, Brigitte, prepared a delicious breakfast and it is beautifully Each guest room is inviting and has ample space ,
We stayed 5 nights for our anniversary. This is a great bed n breakfast. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Bathroom has a deep tub to soak in. The breakfast's were amazingly delicious. Dont miss the afternoon cookies. The staff so kind and welcoming. This is more like home than hotel. Close to hiking, UVA, and Charlottesville. A finer place to stay you will not find.
We stayed here one night in June and loved it! Beautiful grounds and well kept house. Breakfast was wonderful as was the owner. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay while visiting Monticello and UVA.
We had a wonderful two nights stay at the Inn. We would have loved to stayed longer and definitely plan to return. Brigitte has done an amazing job of anticipating anything you could possibly need. The property is spotless, comfortable and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing in the lawn chairs. Breakfast was delicious and when we mentioned we needed to leave before breakfast on our last day, there was a fabulous breakfast “to go” waiting for us that we enjoyed on our drive out of VA. Thanks for a delightful stay!
Great service in this charming B&B! We needed some peace for a getaway spot that was also close to activities. Easy drive into city center with lovely restaurant for dinner. After a delicious breakfast we enjoyed our favorite pastime of Virginia wine tours with visits to three great places nearby. Thank you to Brigitte and staff for a wonderful weekend.
My wife and visited Foxfield Inn for a much-needed long weekend away and we were not at all disappointed. The property is beautiful and peaceful; the inside of the home is warm and inviting. But the best part was Brigette. She is welcoming and accommodating. She and her staff were on top of everything and took care of us all so well. From the moment I registered, until days after we left, Brigette communicated with us to make sure our stay was perfect. The room is spacious and perfectly set up to be your home away from home. The gas fireplace and deep jacuzzi tub help to make the room even more relaxing. The breakfasts that we had were perfect! They tasted great and were also presented so well. The backyard is ideal for relaxing with a book, enjoying the hot tub, meeting new friends in other visitors, or playing board games. The living area inside is comfortable and inviting. The property is only 15 minutes from Downtown Charlottesville, with incredible dining options and you're close to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. We will definitely be returning!…
Every minute of our stay at The Foxfield Inn was perfect. Bridgette’s attention to detail is evident throughout the Inn. It is spotless, warm and welcoming. The beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was a delightful start to the day and the snacks and homemade cookies were a big hit when we returned from sightseeing in the afternoon. Bridgette and her assistant Elizabeth were helpful in recommending places to eat and visit. We came home relaxed and refreshed.
We just can't say enough about the Foxfield Inn. The owner, Brigitte, is warm and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully appointed and immaculate. The highlight of our stay was the delicious and elegant 3 to 4 course breakfast Brigitte and her staff served every morning - absolutely the best B&B breakfasts we've ever had. We highly recommend the Foxfield Inn if you're visiting the Charlottesville, VA area. It was certainly worth a nine hour drive from CT!
We stayed at the Foxfield Inn in May 2022. It was by far the nicest B & B we have ever stayed. The Inn was meticulously clean and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious and very filling. Everything was homemade. Brigitte the owner was so pleasant and helpful. We stayed in the Rose Room, which had a beautiful view of the grounds. Every afternoon Brigitte put out homemade cookies and mixed nuts to snack on before dinner. We even had a surprise bottle of champagne to help us celebrate our Anniversary. If you are anywhere near Charlottesville this B & B is a must stay.
Where do we begin? Absolutely wonderful stay at the Foxfield! Brigitte has created a very special bed and breakfast experience in a terrific setting. She obviously loves what she does and it is felt from the moment you arrive and in every aspect of your stay. There is not even one detail that has not been considered and provided for her guests. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and welcoming with Bose radios, cell phone plugs, special soaps and lotions, robes, slippers, sound machine, …and we could go on and on. The outstanding 3 course breakfasts were some of the very best we have ever experienced anywhere. She has also addressed the social distancing concerns quite well with each room having a separate breakfast table spaced around in the common areas with views of the yard and garden. Fresh flowers are all around and add to the charm of this very special inn. There is an area for guests to put items needing refrigeration, along with complimentary coffee/tea bar, ice, homemade cookies, popcorn, bottled water, soft drinks. Brigitte even has lucite glasses to take outside while you enjoy wine time, the grounds or the hot tub. The information she provides for historic sights, restaurants, wineries and the area is spot on. The inn is 15 minutes outside of town in a beautiful setting and quite convenient to everywhere you want to go without being in the middle of crowds and traffic. We cannot recommend Brigitte and The Foxfield Inn enough! You must…
