My husband and I stayed in the Fox Hunt room over Labor Day weekend. Kathryn greeted us at the door, showed us around, and made us feel welcome. The room was decorated in a classic style, very clean, with a nice comfortable bed. Her breakfast was delicious, and very filling! The blueberry scones melted in our mouths. Kathryn also was...

Thanks for the review. Several people at the Post office are very familiar with our returning packages. Glad you enjoyed the King bed in the Hunt Country room and Kathryn's scones and muffins are great. Dan

My husband and I recently stayed at the Foxfield Inn and what a treat! We were greeted by Kathryn upon arrival and were instantly impressed with her warmth. We were given a tour of the home, received helpful advice regarding dinner, and then treated to an aperitif. The room was cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was three...

Found this wonderful B & B on TA when looking for a nice place to stay while visiting Monticello. The Foxfield Inn more than met my expectations. Dan & Kathryn know how to run a welcoming Inn. From the delicious multi course gourmet breakfast, the exquisite sheets & towels, cookies & coffee just outside the room, evening wine & appetizers,...

Thank you for the kind words. Even though we are not right next door to Monticello, it is an easy drive from our Inn. With the building of the new visitor center at Monticello in 2009, its well worth the visit. Dan

My husband and I spent a wonderful three days in Charlottesville at the Foxfield Inn. We needed to disappear for the weekend to get away from it all and relax. This was the perfect place to do it. They anticipated every need that we may have had and more. There was even a tooth brush under the sink which was...

This B & B is very detail oriented. From the most comfortable bed, pillows and linens, to a wonderful breakfast and lovely hors d'oeuvres and wine between 5-7 pm, they do it all. They are also very helpful with restaurant recommendations and activities. Parking is available on the premises. Simply lovely.

My husband and I just got home from the most relaxing stay at The Foxfield Inn. We already cannot wait to go back. We stayed for two nights in the Garden Room and it was so lovely. The room was decorated nicely and had room for sitting as well. Great bay window with refreshing views of the secluded yard. The...

My companion and I spent two wonderful days and nights in Charlottesville. The Foxfield Inn is a little bit outside of town -- you can't really walk anywhere from there -- but it's a charming, relaxing, professionally run B&B. Huge soaking tubs, great breakfast, all in the rolling hills of Charlottesville. Highly recommneded.

We spent three nights at Foxfield Inn at the end of our June vacation. It was an excellent conclusion to a great week and we would return to Foxfield without hesitation. Dan and Kathryn are interesting, knowledgeable, warm and delightful people. Their attention to detail and to us helped us to immediately feel welcome and at home. The inn is...

Had a wonderful stay at Foxfield Inn with my husband. Hunt Country room was tastefully decorated with a super comfortable king bed and relaxing jacuzzi. Backyard and gazebo were peaceful spots for reading. Breakfasts were lovely and gave us a chance to try many of Kathryn's recipes as well as meet some of the other guests. Evening "happy hour" in...

We had a great stay in the Dogwood Room, only wish we stayed longer! We enjoyed the hot tub, the breakfast was delicious and soooo gourmet and the friendliness of the owners! Definitely a must visit inn in charlottesville! It is clean and comfortable and they host a evening happy hour with wine and lite fare.
