We spent one night at the Foxfield Inn this past weekend and didn't want to leave. Mary Pat and John welcomed us into their cosy, beautiful, and high-quality inn as if we were good family friends. We stayed in the Dogwood Room and were very comfortable with the quality, decor, and cleanliness of the room. In addition, we were constantly... More

Our second visit to the Inn and we just can't resist coming back. John and Mary Pat are wonderful hosts and they have such a warm and inviting Inn. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comforting (including the robes and slippers). We love spending cool nights in the hot tub outside. We hope to be married at the Inn... More

When my wife sugggested a much needed weekend getaway for the two of us, I didn't need much convincing. Then again, finding that special place to stay is always both inspiring and daunting. The Foxfield Inn,located in Charlottesville, Virginia's beautiful rolling countryside proved to be a gem of a discovery. We all know of misleading websites that paint glowing self-promotions... A nice inn in a beautiful location close to downtown Charlottesville. Rooms are nice - we enjoyed the fireplace. The outdoor spa was especially pleasant and relaxing!! Breakfasts were delicious and filling.

The Foxfield Inn is the nicest place I have ever stayed. The rooms and large, welcoming relaxing. The bathroooms are large with Jacuzzi baths. The hosts are fantastic and the breakfasts are the Best. There is so much to do and see in this part of Va but the Foxfield makes the trip.

My husband and I spent one delightful night at the Foxfield Inn. We left regretting that we did not set aside more time to spend an extra night or two. May Pat and John are gracious hosts who made us feel welcome. They obviously love what they do and do it very well. We received excellent dining advice, lots of... More

My boyfriend and I went to the FoxField Inn for a nice weekend get-away. It was easy to find and beautiful on the inside and outside. Mary Pat and John were exceptional hosts. The breakfast both mornings was more than expected. Mary Pat and John gave advice on where to eat, a map to all the wineries, and had brochures... More

We just returned from our second visit to the Foxfield Inn in Charlottesville, VA and must say that it truly is a delightful place! We booked the 2-night romantic package as it was our first anniversary, the same thing we did for our wedding night the year before. We were met with beautiful roses in our room and a bottle... This place exceeded the already high expectations we arrived with, after examining the literature and photographs. Elegant, thoughtfully and artistically decorated, comfort details throughout, a room of escape for each want, and a hostess who apparently loves her job so much that her satisfaction and tranquility spills over to her guests. Breakfast and refreshments were beautifully presented, an oh-so epicurean.... More

We had traveled to Charlottesville to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We had made online reservations at a different location however they were never received so we had to make alternate arrangements fast. During our initial search for lodging in Charlottesville we had run across the Foxfield Inn's web site and thought we would look into one of their football... More
