My husband and I have been camping at Tom's Cove many times. Our stay this time was interrupted by tropical storm Hermine:-( The staff was excellent by letting us pay day by day based on the weather. They even gave a credit to our friends for them to use in the future. The water views from the campground are beautiful....

We stay here a few times a year. It only on the "off season" and enjoy our stay each time. My only complaint is allowing campers to park the opposite of the rest of us, placing us face to face with no privacy Plus tent camping in between Leaving no privacy!

Friendly staff. Trolley pickup outside the entrance. Great place to ride bikes. Pool had a lifeguard on duty, felt safe. Boat launch on site. Launched our kayaks and paddled over to assateague island.

I really don't have anything bad to say about Tom's Cove Park. My mother is older and doesn't get around very well sometimes. We had a waterfront site, and she was able to sit inside the RV on her bad days and watch the activity on the piers and in the channel. We watched dolphins swim by the first day...

I love Tom's Cove and have been going for years. We send our requests in PLENTY early prior to our arrival and always request a water site, but we NEVER get one. I was informed that it has to do with who submit the request before us...but when we get there in the afternoon on Thursday and are told there...

First of all, Chincoteague is a great place to visit. Everyone should experience the pony swim at least once in their lifetime. However, there aren't any quality campgrounds on the island. Tom's Cove has the best views. Location is about all it has though. Their reservation system is AWFUL! Mail in reservations is not efficient in this day in time....

We stayed 3 nights and were quite satisfied. Reservations for the week of the pony swim need to be made as close as possible to January 1. The place was crowded and the sites are right up against each other, no pull throughs. Love the people though. Boats block most of the view of the swim, but they are paraded...

Let me start out by saying we went for pony penning day. Probably their busiest week. The campground staff were wonderful. We had trouble popping up our camper, and no less than 4 staff members driving by stopped to help. The office staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful. But the campground itself is pretty old, and very care warn....

This was our first visit. Great campground, quiet and enjoyable. Make sure you remember your insect repellent. Bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. Pool area was and welcoming. Pool closed at 8pm would like to maybe be open later but not a deal breaker. Definitely going to make this a yearly trip! We all had a great time!
