We couldn't have been happier with our stay with Island Manor House. The room was extremely pleasant and Lyn is an outstanding host. The food was excellent. We would stay here again without hesitation. An excellent value.

My wife and I came here to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We'd never been to the Island before, but love the beach and bed/breakfasts. The pro's: - the place is beautiful and inviting - it's got a good location within walking distance of downtown - the beach equipment and free bike rentals are a nice touch The con's -...

Hello and belated Congratulations on your 1st anniversary! My wife, Lin, does all the phone reservations and will ALWAYS ask "Is this a special event?" . If so, we provide a small bottle of sparkling wine (or non-alcoholic if preferred) and a card, hand- signed personally to you! Having booked on the internet, you added arrival info and dietary requirements...

We felt right at home. The Innkeeper and owner were so welcoming, and the breakfasts were gourmet. We loved the special touches like bicycles and beach chairs available for guests to use. Thanks for an amazing stay!

What a great place to stay. Staff was very pleasant, Rachael was always so pleasant. Very clean and comfortable rooms, we stayed in the coastal breeze room which was very nice. The breakfasts very delicious and always a beautiful presentation. Got to see the baby ducks...couldn't get enough of them. The gardens were beautiful, just a pleasant experience all around....

My wife and I visited here in April when the tourist season was not yet quite underway. The ducks in the backyard courtyard were busy trying to hatch ducklings and everyday began for us with a peek into the nest to see the results (duckings hatched day after we left). The Inn is very tastefully decorated with a lounge area...

My husband and I visited Chincoteague Island this month and we stayed at the 1848 Island Manor House, and I cannot say enough positive things about this B&B. Rachel is a sweetheart and she is very knowledgable about the island. My husband and I stayed in the Coastal Breeze room, and it overlooked the street, but it was quiet. The...

Very much enjoyed a 2 night stay in the Nathaniel Smith room. Very pretty house with an interesting story. Beautiful courtyard with flowers and a fountain. Everything you need for a visit to the beach. Wonderful host, Rachel. Packed us a snack of still warm oatmeal raisin cookies for our boat ride. Extremely thoughtful and flexible, even providing us a...

Go GO GO!.. it is private, quiet, classy, clean... WELL worth the inexpensive fee.. we were fed like we were in a 5 star resort.. they were kind and compassionate. I received a call from home that my dog of 17 years had passed away while I was there. I was devastated.. the staff brought me flowers, brought my meals...

If you favor warm hospitality, attention to details, incredible breakfast cuisine, and most of all...the feeling of "I can't wait to do that again"...the this is your place. I don't want to spoil all of the surprise and mystery that should accompany a experience such as this, but tasteful excellence sums it up! Thank you Lin and Rachel for a...

Beautiful old house adjoining a newer (1920s) house, immaculately maintained with a staff that makes you feel at home. Breakfast, in a word, is gourmet. Five stars in every respect...and the location is perfect.
