My wife and I spent our 20th anniversary this past July. I was looking for a quaint getaway to a place we have not beeb before and stumbled upon Channel Bass Inn through Trip Advisor. I read the reviews and took a chance. I am certainly glad I did. Barbara and David are wonderful. The food was excellent and the... More

We stayed in June of 2014 and had a wonderful experience. David and Barbara were very hospitable and made us feel at home. Barbara did an excellent job of recommending restaurants and making reservations. Our room was very clean and our beds were made every day and new towels were provided. The homemade breakfasts were always a treat. We would... More

David and Barbara are wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here. We stayed on the third floor and the room was large and very comfortable. It was a bonus having a small refrigerator to keep our wine cold for a late afternoon cocktail after the beach.... More

Not only was this our first time to Chincoteauge, but it was also our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. I found the Channel Bass Inn through internet searches of pet friendly lodging on the island. Upon arrival, the innkeepers were very friendly and helpful with showing us our room. I truly appreciated that they allowed my small... More

We stayed in May 2014 for a weekend. Brought our dog, and we chose the Channel Bass Inn primarily from the reviews and also because they allow dogs. Barbara and David were great about recommending restaurants and activities. Our room was at the top, clean, perhaps a little dated bathroom and carpeting. The breakfast was a group affair at a... Barbara and David were fantastic! We were celebrating our anniversary and the fourth of July holiday in Chincoteague and we couldnt have had a better time. The breakfast was excellent and varied each morning. The beach was a short bike ride away along with the restaurants. So much to do in Chincoteague whether you have family or travel solo. Highly... The Channel Bass Inn, was Wonderful. We've just returned after spending several nights. Even on a busy 4th of July weekend, the Inn was quiet and was the perfect retreat. I can't say enough about how much Barbara and David go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They had everything we needed. Chairs and towels for the... More

The Channel Bass Inn is adorable. Barbara and David are the most gracious hosts. They go out of their to make your stay enjoyable yet respect your privacy. Barbara makes the most delicious breakfast and for my fellow coffee lovers she also makes French pressed coffee ( that is to die for!) She made reservations for us at the Village... More

We were stay at another Inn on the island but extended our stay one night so we could watch the rocket launch at Wallops Island NASA Visitors Center. Our original Inn was booked so we called Channel Bass Inn and we got a one night weekend reservation. Now we have been to LOTS of B&Bs and Inns and they don't... More
