Historic, comfortable, and friendly; this home was so nice and quaint. The owners are professional but, laid back and very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. A wonderful place to get away from the overwhelming hustle and bustle of city living. Reasonably priced!

My wife and I spent the night following a Christmas party rather than drive 100 miles home to Lynchburg. The Yoder family treated us as family while serving up a real country breakfast. We really enjoyed talking with their oldest daughter, aged 9, who made the fire in the 1811 Era dining room. You won't be disappointed.

A friend and I spend a few days away each fall and this year we went to the Buckhorn. The hospitality was outstanding. We stayed in the Stagecoach room which was pleasant and clean. The fireplace in the living room created a warm and homey place to chat on a cold day. The breakfast was delicious and made to order...

This historic home converted into a B&B is too simple for me. There was not a smidgen of luxury. Some reviews really liked this place, but it's like staying at a relatives' home: the bed was horrible in the "Sunset Room"; the window AC unit was so loud you can't sleep and wasn't highly effective in September; the bathroom is...

One of the more difficult things we encounter as innkeepers is trying to figure out what guests will like. Most of the time we do it pretty well but sometimes we miss and for that we apologize. I hope these folks find a B&B that meets their expectations.

I was looking online for a place for my friend and I to stay for the night while on our way to Blacksburg for a girl's weekend. I came across The Buckhorn Inn and immediately fell in love with the picture of the front porch. I've never stayed in a Bed and Breakfast before, but after this stay, I will...

I grew up stopping here for buckwheat pancakes on our way to the Maple Festival in Highland Co. but I hadn't been there in years. Some friends' rehearsal dinner was there last night and it was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and the peanut butter pie was to die for. The employees with whom we interacted were incredibly courteous...

Garlan and Sylvia Yoder are great hosts as were their children with our children. The location is a little off I-81, but gorgeously situated in the George Washington national park. The breakfast was always superb and the inn is beautifully filled with history and interest.

We had a lovely time! The owner, Garland Yoder, was a really nice guy and served us an awesome breakfast of homemade bread and jam, pancakes, eggs, and bacon, orange juice and xoffee. Our room had a homemade quilt and afour poster bed. I fet far away from DC.

Nice rooms, great hosts. Very kid friendly, which is a plus for us (owners have kids who entertained ours) but could be negative for others. Fantastic breakfast, but you need to be down there by 8am on Sundays. Wifi wasn't working during our stay, and no cell service on t mobile in the area.

Three of us traveling to the Maple Festival were lucky enough to be able to stay at this wonderful B & B! We were given a suite of rooms with all the comforts of home. Breakfast was delicious with anything we wanted included!
