We were rescued by the nicest person. We had bad weather -- rain and fog and were trying to get up to the lodge on the gravel road. Lost traction -- and my computer in my new car evidently thought "wreck" and shut the car down. Lost engine, brakes and steering. Slid down the mountain and almost over the side....

Bent Mountain Lodge is one of the most remote B&B's we have visited. It offers an abundance of quiet, wildlife, wild flowers, and beautiful vistas. We loved watching the 3 pet horses chase apples that were falling from the trees. Our cabin room was a bit musty when we arrived, but the weather was nice enough to open windows. With...

Being from Florida, I thought I died and went to heaven with the view from this property! Mountains, mountains, and more mountains. The owners are lovely people and make you feel like family, even with their loving pets, including their horses on the property. A great get-away for both lovers and families! Great touches at this remarkable lodge!

This B&B is on a beautiful piece of property. The view was breathtaking. It was very quiet and by the time we arrived here we were very tired. One of the best night sleeps I've had in a place other than home. Jesse was friendly and gave us a tour of this beautiful house. Breakfast was continental style, but it...

We regret your dissatisfaction. I think we had a terrible misunderstanding. First the lodge is never locked any place 24 hours a day. Breakfast was available self service 7-10 AM and all other guests had no problem. I do apologize for waking you. We did have an unexpected doctor appointment as I have had some recent beathing problems. Our beds...

We only got to spend one night here and sadly, the fog was SO thick, it made for some very scary driving! But once we arrived, it was worth the drive and was very relaxing. We stayed in the Geneva Suite - which was short of like a full basement apartment. Very comfortable and affordable. Wish the weather had been...

We spent a couple days at the Bent Mountain Lodge B&B, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful, and we found it to be clean and we had plenty of space in which to spread out after a few heavy days of travel. In our walk-through Jesse suggested that we could treat the Bent Mountain Lodge as...

We have stayed at the Bent Mountain Lodge 3 to 4 times per year for the past 6 years or so. As a Roanoke native who returns to visit family, I can't think of any other place in the area with the uniqueness of amenities and comfort. We mostly stay for long weekends, including Thanksgiving. We consider it a much-preferred...

A wonderful destination in itself, but also a great waypoint when traveling along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Convenient off the parkway, with great views and beautiful rooms in the lodge or convenient, well-appointed and convenient rooms in the cabin (4 rooms and a well-equipped kitchen out there). The Lawrences are a pleasure to work with! HIGHLY recommended!

“If you like traveling with a canine companion, this place is quite animal friendly. Several other guests had their pets with them, which we enjoyed immensely. You might want to bring a cooler with your own supper food, since the place is fairly isolated. There is a convenient kitchenette for guests, with refrigerator, microwave, and even a washer and dryer. A "guest" frig is inside the main lodge, and is stocked with drinks and a few snacks.”
