This is a wonderfully restored home. Our room was lovely and comfortable, with our own bath. Our bed was especially comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious. Connie and Jake were very friendly and made out stay delightful. We have stayed at B & B's on other trips, but this one was by far the best!

This was my first time staying at a B&B. I must say Connie & Jake have set the bar very high. I stayed in "Daddy D's" room. It was large and spacious and absolutely stunning! Well, the whole house is stunning!! The large bathroom was very comfortable as well and every amenity that you could possibly think of was provided....

Stayed one night after visiting Smith Mountain Lake. This B@B décor is impeccably furnished and decorated right out of the 19th century. Everything is clean and there is attention to detail everywhere. Every room is unique and inviting. I stayed in the Daddy D room. The room and bed were decorated so nicely, that I hated to disturb anything while...

I was traveling through Danville on personal business and decided after reading the reviews to support some local small business. I am SO GLAD I did. First of all, you immediately feel at home. The Inn Keepers Jake and Connie, gave me a nice tour of the house upon my arrival along with the things that are important to know....

This gorgeous old mansion, owned and operated by Jake and Connie Eckman, is a fine example of restoration done with care. The home had been neglected for years, and now is as beautiful as it was originally. A photo album showing the mansion before restoration details the work involved in bringing this residence back to life. All rooms, including the...

I am so happy we found the II Georges Inn! We came to town for the NASCAR race in Martinsville and were completely comfortable with the distance to the track (only about 20 minutes). I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts and Connie and Jake's II Georges is one of the best in my book. The attention to detail...

Our mid-winter getaway was made perfect by our stay at the lovely II Georges Inn, an exquisitely restored Victorian masterpiece of a house. We stayed in Ruth's room (of course), furnished with beautiful antiques and divinely comfortable bedding. Bed-side sherry, cozy bathrobes, everything that could make our stay heavenly had already been thought of. We breakfasted in style in the...

My wife and I have never been to a bed and breakfast and we found this hidden gem for our first time. Connie and Jake made us feel right at home. We stayed in Daddy D's room which was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. After a warm guided tour of the house and property by the friendly...
